I have been a fan of the Men of War games since Faces of War, i have played each game extensively, Men of War was such a defining game at the time i didn't think anything would ever come close to it, then we got the Assault Squad series and was blown away by how much it improved everything and then we got the mods that followed like Star Wars and Robz which just enhanced an already incredible game. Then we got Call to Arms which wasn't as defining as i had hoped but was still a good game, again made even better by mods like Warfighter. I followed the development for Gates of Hell for a very long time and was disheartened when the announced Best Way had basically screwed them over, eventually Digitalmindsoft gave them a way to release in what i think is the best game we have in the series and the best GEM engine game overall. Gates of Hell is the like the culmination of years of incredible strategy games, its animation, effects and sound design has elevated the game massively, the missions are immersive and well made, the tanks and vehicles move and act in a very realistic way. I mostly play these games for singleplayer content and making maps/missions in the editor and i am close to releasing my first map on the workshop. Again, an already incredible game has been elevated by it's mods, especially Valour which adds the other nations from Assault Squad 2 into the game, this mod along with Battlefield and Honor bring the game to a whole new level. I cannot wait to see what the future holds for this game, with regards to DLC etc.
