You'd think people like it for its atmosphere and storytelling but the RP elements are very strong, moon shining can make you a very rich man indeed, soldiers will sell you assault rifles and shotfuns for cigarettes and booze and you can pimp the ♥♥♥♥ out of your house with a likely higher standard of living than they had before the war, all while helping and saving and killing anyone you like.

This game really is a two in one, competing with Kenshi in its RP survival elements and damn near double the amount of starts available. Tarkov with it's intense scavenging runs all while having a wholly unique perspective and strategy of going about telling a story. very minor spelling errors almost add to the eastern European feel/
