GOAT game, GOAT devs. Why aren't you already playing?

Great Souls-like

Can't get enough. It's one of the best entries imo.

To be on point I'm not disappointed. I loved Resident Evil 4 (except Ashley but that's another story), Resident Evil 5 was okay, I really liked Resident Evil 6 although it was based more on action than survival horror. Resident Evil Revelations tried to get back to the survival horror genre and it was fair enough. Revelations 2 does the same and it is succesful in my optinion.
At first you play as Claire and Moira. You could get the idea that the game isn't able to be survival horror again because there are 2 playable characters but this isn't completely right. The further you play the more you realize that it is worth it (I refer to Episode 1 for now). The atmosphere does everything right, ecspacially later when you get to the second part of Episode 1.
I tried both, playing with Mouse & Keyboard and with Gamepad. The controls feel the same like Revelations.
The graphics are optimized mostly for old gen consoles but it still looks good so I don't have much to complain about.
Alltogether I'm really excited to play the next Episodes and I expect that they will be as good as the first Episode.

F.E.A.R. 3 ist ein leider nicht auf dem Niveau, wie es seine Vorgänger waren. Diese waren richtig schön vollgepackt mit einer Menge Horror und zwischendurch einigen Schussgefechten. Leider hat sich F.E.A.R. 3 dazu entschieden mehr ein Action- als ein Horrorshooter zu sein, zudem kommt noch ein Co-Op Modus dazu, was dennoch nicht bedeutet, dass es schlecht ist. Sowohl Single- als auch Co-Op Modus sind nahezu identisch, nur ein paar "Schockmomente" sind etwas anderes, den Multiplayermodus habe ich kaum gespielt, weswegen ich mich dazu nicht groß äußern kann außer, dass es verschiedene Spielmodi gibt, die, wie man es sich denken kann, ihre jeweils eigenen Ziele verfolgen.
Die Steuerung mit Maus und Tastatur funktioniert, wie von vielen Shootern gewohnt, sehr gut mit ziemlich gewohnter Tastenbelegung.
Die Soundkulisse ist, wie ich finde, gut gelungen und trägt doch recht gut zur Atmosphäre bei.
Alles in Allem kann ich das Spiel jedem ans Herz legen, der gerne actionbasierte Shooter oder Co-Op und hoffe, dass ihr trotz des Vergleichs zu den ersten beiden Spielen trotzdem Spaß am Spiel habt.

Super umgesetzt. Ich hatte relativ hohe Erwartungen in das neue TR und trotzdem hatte ich nicht erwartet, dass es wirklich allen Erwartungen gerecht wird. Lara ist verletzlich, doch jeder hat mal bei 0 in irgendetwas angefangen aber man merkt, dass sie im Laufe der Story die gewisse Entwicklung für die anderen TR-Teile durchmacht. Im Großen und Ganzen ist es ein würdiger Nachfolger oder besser Vorgänger geworden.
