Wollay had a vision in 2013, and it was great. Then some unfortunate things happened that killed his confidence and he went of the grid for 6 years. But, I don’t blame him for that as I can sympathize with his struggles. What I do blame him for is disregarding his vision that so many fans loved, and instead making a Cube World 2.0. I waited for many years, holding out hope that the game I fell in love with 6 years ago would one day return. I was ecstatic when that dream finally came true, only to have it crushed when I realized what was released under the name of Cube World was not the game that I knew, nor was it even close. All the charm of exploring and progressing has been murdered by a broken progression system, and still that’s not the worst part. What’s even worse is that Wollay refuses to acknowledge the criticisms of his fans, instead trying to push this disappointing product. I’d be somewhat fine if he would at least talk to the community, but he won’t. He’d rather just pretend that nothing is wrong and carry on. Shame on you Wollay for somehow disappearing on us again, even though you claim to have returned. RIP the True Cube World (2013-2013)

TLDR This game is disappointing and the lack of response from Wollay is even more saddening, especially after having to endure his 6 year absence.
