Glad to have this strange, fun little game back from the dead.

Glitchy, and Grindy. I don't believe there was any play testing. I see why the YouTubers that were given early access were just up and given all the upgrades, Lol.
2.5/10 at release.

While it doesn't necessarily break the expectation of genre, it's certainly an improvement over previous titles.

Thanks, Rockstar! I once again have the space on my Steam Deck to install Cyberpunk 2077!
PC players take note, Rockstar doesn't give a crap about you. Don't buy Red Dead Redemption when it's released here on Steam in the near future. Don't forget GTA 6 isn't coming to PC initially, either!
With the ever increasing game size between updates, I had to remove 2077 some months ago. And I was having fun with it.. It even ran at 50 FPS, more than GTAO. Perhaps more Forza Horizon's fault with the space aspect.. But here we are, modern R* developers are once again showing they can't do anything more than the absolute bare minimum, and have the nerve to try and deflect responsibility onto Steam. Hell, BattlEye would be doing the work to make it work *for* you! It's solely your responsibility, Rockstar. ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ UNTURNED has BattlEye. UNTURNED. Four words: Y'all are L. A. Z. Y.

From what I have played of it so far it's a well rounded and decently sized DLC, I wouldn't justify paying that price tag to a non-RW lover however, $15 seems a little more fair to me for the average Joe. It just doesn't appear to me to add another ~2/3rd of the original game's content, and if it was any other game I definitely wouldn't have blindly dropped $20 on it Day 1.

What it does add is satisfyingly original as far as a RimWorld "update" is concerned however, with plenty of unique content to stray away from it's age old problem of mostly adding stuff previously found in mods. As far as my feelings for the game as a whole are concerned now, having over 2000 hours total, I'm happy with the $65 I've spent on it.

This is not a game that you can put hundreds of hours into.

I have played and enjoyed quite near every game that NinjaKiwi has released since I've been 7 years old (almost 15y ago), and for the first time in a very long time I'm thoroughly disappointed in one of their games. It's not that it's necessarily a bad game, in fact it's very good and has immeasurable depth, especially when in comparison to other titles in it's genre. I would certainly reccomend it if it wasn't for the many flaws that others have pointed out. Be it because of my bias of nostalgia or any other reason, it just seems to lack the charm and replayablity of the older Bloons games, and I can't pinpoint why.

Oddly enough, I didn't have this issue with Kingdom Rush Origins at all.. and if I had to hazard a guess as to why, I'd say it's due to BTD6 lacking the fun little tidbits the KR series has. All those that we get with this release to my knowledge are a rotating statue and some destructable map objects, which in this day and age simply isn't enough, in contrast to days past where technical and physical limitations were to blame for lack of depth.

monke

I enjoyed even the shoddily ported SAS4 a considerable lot more than this, not to mention the many, many hundreds of hours I've played on the flash versions of BTD3-5, SAS 4/TD, and Battles.. not to mention many a School Lunch break playing their antique flashes like Boombot, Meeblings, and Guns n Angel, classic Bloons, even Hotcorn.

To any Ninjakiwi employee reading this, I'm sure you've looked into and know better than I why this release has been met with such harsh backlash. Whatever that fault may be, it's preventing you guys from making a truly great game, which I know is within your powers and toolset. I'm sure this will end up being an excellent game by the end of it's life, but right now it's missing that spark.
