This was my first Resident Evil game, I had been stuck playing roguelikes and rhythm games for a few months until one day I found this games safe room theme on Youtube and decided "♥♥♥♥ it" and bought a couple Resident Evil games, and WOW

Getting past the set camera angles and weird controls was a battle in itself but eventually I learned to move around smoothly (though that didn't stop me from dancing between camera angles sometimes).
I love this game so much, from the sound design to the different stories between the two characters, even the achievement hunting was fun! I'm genuinely a bit mad It took me this long to try the game haha.

10/10 This was the hyperfixation I needed!

Maybe I'm just not good enough at factory games but i genuinely cannot play this.
What i expected what a fun factory building game, what i got was a mess of conveyor belts and mechanics being thrown at me every couple minutes before i could even wrap my head around the last, despite it being explained to me multiple times.

Doesn't help that sometimes some of the things it gives you wont fit on your current conveyor belt so you have to tear that section down and start again just so you can accommodate for that one specific thing only to tear it down yet again because the game has handed you yet another mechanic that doesn't fit!

The only thing this game did is frustrate me which is a shame because it looked fun, anyway if you're smart or good at factory games you'll probably have more fun but i just don't get it

I loved dark souls 2 scholar of the first sin and i heard from some people that the original was supposedly better, They were so so wrong

Maybe I'm a little biased since i played the remake first but this version of the game feels very weird by comparison, items are in harder spots, some of the shortcuts are removed and it just generally feels harder.
honestly, if you're planning on playing dark souls 2 for the first time please play scholar of the first sin instead!

First i want to say something
no this game is not flawless, nothing is.
it has jank, broken hitboxes and some of the worst boss runbacks

...but this game is so dear to me
despite its flaws, i found myself enjoying this game more than ds1 and 3! It got me through some hard times.
the NG+ additions made me want to play the game more, not just because of rings (like ds3) but because of all the enemy changes and additions, i often found myself going "oh you're new!"

The music is beautiful and i want to put some of the dialogue lines on my wall,
mostly just Aldias lines, he has some of the best lines in the game, cant express how much i love that giant tree mass!

Anyway, best dark souls fight me

Its insane to me that it took me this long to write a review for this banger of a game
The disturbing art style and atmosphere is the ♥♥♥♥ but don't expect a long game (the next game is longer dw)

The controls are admittedly janky at times (the kitchen hand achievement is the bane of my existence.) but its an enjoyable experience nonetheless!

10/10 highly recommend going into this game blind!

I never usually write serious reviews but i thought i'd do it for once!

This is my first souls game, i tried playing ds1 on my switch a long while ago but i never really "got" it (tbh i was in a bad place mentally so that didn't help)
I only bought this game first because i saw the dancer and though they looked cool.

I've always been the type to give up quickly, in both life and video games and i almost gave up quite a few times during my playthrough but eventually I began to experiment with weapons, be more observant to boss patterns (I have nameless king to thank for that) and genuinely enjoying the game, which, ngl, i thought would never happen.

I cant really compare this game to other souls games but I can say how good this game is for people who have never played a souls game before! If you are one of those people remember to not give up no matter how much you die!

I have lost control of my life...
