It has more potential than EFT had at any point. They just need optimize the game and add more content. For an alpha its alright.

To get more FPS use FSR. 3090+R7 5800x3d gets me 125 fps with epic preset and FSR(quality)

It's better than civ, but thats kinda low bar. Game customization options are limited, alternative ages require you to go all in on research and it does conflict with my playstyle. Concept itself however is new and interesting and, as always with games from pdx, game might become much better in long run.
Also I'd be happy to see Ukrainian localisation.

Gameplay was a bit too fast for me, but it was worth it in the end.
Please do not spoil story for yourself before playing. It's excellent.

Worst enemy of democracy is server capacity

It crashes alot. And second one is banned from steam so you will have to get it somewhere else, for example publisher's site.

It's buggy for 1.0. Narrator can be funny at times, but due to bugs he sometimes says one thing too much or skips a line to say it in a few minutes, for example while you switch planets.
A lot and I mean ALOT of things are not clear the closer you are to cosmic stage. But some basic things are not explained too - faith for example. You also will lock yourself out of some tech without option to get it in same playthrough.
You can not even setup regular shipments of resources, making colonies close to useless.
It has solid start and few first stages, but beyond that it's raw and uncooked.
Maybe in few years will try it again and change my mind.

Much better than remake.

It's good even if somewhat unfinished. It only lacks path beyond "chaotic evil" and "lawful good".
