Do you ever feel that the only thing keeping you from being a pro-rts player is your abysmal apm? Then you need mechabellum to disabuse you of the notion. The game is good too, looks good, plays well, active community online. Weekly community tournaments, skins, and a very robust strategic loadout for your mans means there's always something new to try. This is not a game that there is a "best" composition, and the meta is always switching up with consistent balance tweaks and unit additions/reworks, and cards.

Also, unlike a lot of this style of game, there is no pay to win, there are no addiitonal units only available to owners of expansion packs, or picked out of gacha machines. This game rewards your play with options, and opening up everything can be done within a few hours of play, strategy wise. Skins are a different story, but that's just aesthetics.

Game is in a weird place. It looks like it should have a ton of builds and random things, but, in reality, it's just hours of doing the same thing over and over again, each "character" is basically exactly the same, but now, some or most of them have passives. The devs have shut down the discussions, and there's no fanfare or anything for the game, no way to discuss with other players aside from discord or whatever I guess.

I can't really endose anyone buy this game in its current state. It quickly gets very boring.

I don't like to leave negative reviews, but this game feels like low effort slop. I wanted a fast response competitive trivia game to play against other players, but this is just dumb.

1. The announcer says things that don't sound like a native speaker. Also, the announcer has like, 3 minutes of total dialogue that gets constantly repeated.
2. the trivia, which is central to game, is frequently wrong. The last game I played, the right answer for how many stomachs a cow has was 1 in the game, but in real life it's 4. The game gave people the wrong answer for saying a gallop is faster than a cantor.
3. None of the game matters, the final challenge doesn't really care how many points people have, it's just an elmination round and whoever is leftover wins.
4. I feel like a lot of the questions, including the hallucinated answers were written by AI. When I looked up how many stomachs a cow had earlier, the google AI said one, and the first article said 4(the correct answer).

I feel like this game is a low effort cash grab and should have been a fun slam dunk of a game concept.

This game is amazing, I've got it on my phone now, so I don't play it much on pc, it's a lovingly crafted gem of a game and you should pick it up now.

Deep rock galactic is one of the best value for money games in my library. I'm very close to coming back to it and dumping another 100 hours into it. It's a frenetic, fast paced, coop alien shooting adventure, the classes are incredibly well designed and balanced, and the game play loop is great. It plays well with friends or just using the pick up group function. People who play the game tend to be well behaved and generally enjoyable, which is great, because, this game also has a ton of unlockables that require a lot of time to aquire, and being able to use pickup groups to do that is a huge advantage.

It's a great game to pick up if you're on the fence and an awesome value. Try it out!

Early Access Review
Risk of Rain 2 is the sequel I didn't know I wanted. Initially I was put off by the shift to 3d, but, the game plays great, the music is A+, and it retains the feel of the original, and is, in a lot of ways both easier to get into and more challenging than the original. It plays well with 4 or by yourself. Give it a shot!

Teleglitch is a fast paced, but pretty complex roguelike shooter. It combines creepy scenery and sound with fast paced action quite well. It does not have the complexity of true roguelikes, there is no armor system, for example, but so far, I've enjoyed every minute of it, it's a nice time waster.

So far, wonderful story, already hitting the feels quite hard about 10 minutes in. The combat is challenging, but fair. The graphics aren't top notch, but they're heavily stylized and enjoyable. The sytems involved in combat seem quite interesting, both inside and outside of, with a heavy basis of customization starting fairly early on.

Def solid recomendation to anyone interested in Arpgs, or Rpgs in general.
