10/10 game of the year

Combat is a full 10/10, straight goated

Tinker with settings before starting a save, it lets you disable the annoying grindy bits like castle decay etc as others have mentioned, once that's sorted it's absolutely tremendous.

Edit: Below is my initial review made during the PSN change announcement, as stated there I am changing this review to positive due to the rollback of the planned changes.

The gameplay itself? Tremendous, genuinely so. Without any mental gymnastics this has been one of the best games to come out recently as far as the in-game experience is concerned, once you're in a match everything just clicks.

However......, between concerning implementations of kernel-level anti-cheat in a non competitive game and now the whole debacle with Sony, I unfortunately cannot bring myself to leave a positive review.

If at the bare minimum the Sony-related issues are resolved I might be inclined to adjust this review.

(Seriously though this game is fantastic, 10/10 EA is hella cringe by comparison)

One of the most polished early access games I have played so far, if people at Neocore accomplish what they have set out to do this might be the first properly good 40k game in quite some time. If you're not sure about this game, wait until the full release and check out some reviews then considering the steep buy-in price.
