I love the transition to a new engine that was expected and hotly desired. The game has been transformed and began to resemble the level of 2024 (in the best sense of the word) and despite minor bugs, such as bright purple light with interacting objects, it doesn't cause any special negative emotions.

But what does is a number of extremely questionable decisions, which should have been thought about earlier, and which led to such reviews.
The most infuriating thing is the menu. Why on earth did you decide that a UI created specifically for consoles would be a good solution for PC players? Or rather, who asked you to do this? I don't recall that from the first presentation the entire audience was delighted or at least unequivocally positively accepted it. I have to waste lots of my time every single time I'm going on a raid just to find the tools I need, menu options, etc. The hunters selection is terrible. Weapons and equipment is even worse. Now I can't see the looks of the weapons I own and I have to scroll through each one to view and set it manually. The comparison of the two weapons is extremely inconvenient and has undergone a noticeable degradation, making the whole process long and drawn out. I can understand the shortening of the names of most weapons, but as an experienced player, I don't like it and I would like to return their original names (at least to have such an option). God, all you had to do was take the old UI and update it a bit from a visual perspective, leaving the same functionality and layout. As a result, in the pursuit of minimalism, you only overloaded it more and made it completely unintuitive.

Optimization is another huge problem. At first, I was glad that I barely had 70 fps from the start. But playing longer, I began to notice that everything is not as smooth as I thought. Roughly speaking, today it can be fine, and tomorrow it may fool around, lag, turn off the sound completely just for no reason. Changing the settings will often do nothing more than solve the problem itself, and updating the drivers is a pure placebo. And that's all on full-low settings, while before the update I could have 70-90 on medium-high.

But what just pisses me off even more is that at some point the game just crashes every time I open the map. Picture this: the boss gets killed, I wanna see the location of the banishing, pressing tab and my game completely freezes dead, restarting my game, loading in after 4 minutes (thanks to the long loading and intros which can't be skipped) and I'm always lying dead. You cannot imagine how many games I've lost because of this. Even funny, when my bunch of my teammates had the same thing happening, which they told me after. I HATE this dumb crap, it's ruining all desire to play Hunt further.

I'm not even going to talk about the fact that for some reason you removed the lore, the black market and the trials from the game. No one asked for that and people like me used BM all the time (because it offers the same skins from the shop for the lower price, even with a discount).

All you have to do now is to bring back the previous UI, make everything friendlier for PC users (basically returning the same old good UI) and improve optimization. In the meantime, it's not pleasant to play.

Okay, so in some parts it became slightly better, but others just degraded too much. The engine update was a necessary thing for sure, but it brought so many problems that I actually start to believe it was a mistake and wish there was a way to get back when the game was actually playable and nice. Right now I'm still having plenty of performance issues. So many annoying bugs which come out one by one with each new update. Seriously Crytek, I can give you a credit for fixing the damn map which crashed the game every single time I pressed tab. But in some matches I don't even have a map at all now. What is that? And what's that new weird lagging sound? It wasn't in the previous patch. Add BM scam to that - every single time I get blood money from the dark tribute it either gives me none, or gives the different amount of what is shown on my screen. Literally a few minutes before updating my review I got 80 of them, but the number was weird, so I recorded last 10 minutes to see if I'm seeing things. Turned out I didn't. On the screen it said I got 80, but it actually gave me only 30. Fantastic.
You know, I'm fine with Twitch drops and all the skins from another battle pass, but if you really want your community to be satisfied with the game, then please stop making dumb decisions by giving the priority to secondary things and finally bring the game to a decent playable base like it was before. For now I think I'm gonna take a break from it for a while.
