a racing game i decided to buy full price, result was SUPER worth it

it's such a mythical sight playing... a VERY GOOD racing game, no online only requirements, no MTX features and no triple A gaming nonsense, just a game that's built for what it's supposed to do, a fun, addictive (and perfectly optimized) game! freaking western game companies should be taking some gosh darn notes at this!

customization and car selection as of early access are damn good, hopefully they will add more Y2K/Fast & Furious/Ricer type parts and liveries as well as more JDM cars in the full release

the story isn't the best but it's good and serves it's purpose, simple progression making, the classic NFS Black Box take, start from slow beater car all the way up to fast tuner spec car, am lowkey shocked at how Genki made lore somewhat depth and interesting, there's alot of racer characters that gives unique aura immensity and diversity, even though the english in here funny at times

and last is handling, i've always wanted to play TXR back in the PS2 days, but it had one ick prevented me from playing all the old games, the handling sucks (they drive like literal boats), this new game has better handling than the old TXR games and that's a massive W improvement, mind you it ain't forza realistic nor NFS brake to drift arcadey but if you ever played the wangan midnight maximum tune games, the handling feels just like that and that's, hella good enough

the only problems i have are the high money/BP economy and some racers having insane boosting power performance (Melancholic Angel as an example), when you reach endgame, the massive grind begins to kick in, where rewards like money are longer 500k (now only 10k to 70k) and BPs not received when racing beaten rivals, that'd could be a problem if you looking to building your personal car collection at the very end of the line

overall, this early access is worth the purchase, you want a good game that meets and respects a playerbase's highly demanded wants and more specifically a racing game that meets and respects a playerbase's highly demanded wants? buy this game, Genki for real deserves the W and praise, a superb first impression and experience, hope to see the small issues fixed and hope to see the game in it's full final state
