Solid overall gameplay loop. Occasional bugs, as expected a couple months from release.

Subnautica: Below Zero is a shorter, easier, but slightly more well refined version of the original Subnautica game, which is a standout success in survival/crafting games.

It does lack a bit of 'wonder' and in some cases literal depth that the original Subnautica had, but overall, it's still a very solid game.

Slay the spire with more depth and co-op. Game is currently in early access, it currently plays well, but it's lacking all characters and the full story.

Slay the Spire meets Adventure Time.

Individual fights are quick, and your items are shuffled in with the enemies for each level. Your items and enemies for that level are deployed randomly into a grid, it's up to you to choose who to fight, and which of your items to buy each round.

It has some decent depth to it and a lot of customization between your deck customization options and perks earned at the end of each level. (Similar to Artifacts from Slay the Spire)

8.5/10 - More characters/content are all that's lacking, which should come with time.

Horrible RNG mechanics, a horrible economy system, and just not fun to play.

Modern X-Com meets Warhammer 40k. One of the best Warhammer games since the original Dawn of War.

Wild west X-Com with Demons instead of Aliens. Also includes an intelligently designed 'luck' system that removes the chance of being unlucky with your attacks multiple turns in a row. (Missing a high hit chance attack gives you increased chance to hit the next attack, where hitting a low hit chance reduces your hit chance the next attack etc.) That system alone makes the game much more enjoyable.
