Love it. This is the best product Funcom has put out yet.

Time will tell if they can keep enough content in the game to maintain a healthy player base, but given Conan is still popular I think they’ll be fine.

Just got out of the tutorial, and if the rest of the game holds to this quality, then buy it. It's incredible for an AA game. Finally, some first person "elder scrolls" like combat that doesn't suck.

I'll update this review if things change.

A-Life is completely screwed at the moment. Game has potential but the very core of it doesn’t work.

If you enjoy enemies spawning just out of sight constantly, then definitely buy it. STALKER: Far Cry Edition.

This remake has everything going for it.

I absolutely love how deep the mechanics are for a JRPG, and how they introduce them and make them easy to understand.

The graphics, artwork, animations are great.

I can’t speak enough how much I am enjoying this games. Buy it so they remake the others in the series and keep making new titles of this quality.

As of the time of this review I’m about 15 hours in, having fun exploring and crafting. Combat is a bit janky at first but I’m getting used to it and I think it’ll flesh out.

Controller support is great! Definitely prefer it over KBM.

So this gets a thumbs up for now as I feel I’m enjoying my time and it’s giving me entertainment.

Buggy, poor performance, lack of graphical settings like FOV and DLSS.

It's Bethesda. They've been pulling the same thing forever.

And it's worth getting lost in regardless because it IS good, despite its issues.

8.7/10 so far for me.

EDIT: Over a month into this and no major patch. No DLSS, no performance improvements, no HDR implementation, no major bug fixes. Changing my review to negative and 6/10. I know indie companies who push patches faster than this one.

Not perfect, needs some patches and content fleshed out. The character writing is very “millennial” which is not a good thing (speaking as a millennial myself).

That being said, what is here is ten times any RPG released in the last twenty years. This game alone has proven to me that in my 30+ years gaming, it’s games that have become crap, not just me getting older.

Other game devs, take note. The bar has been raised and y’all should be ashamed with your laziness.

Hunt provides a multiplayer experience like no other. I recommend it if you're looking for a slower paced, positional sound driven PvEvP experience!

This game is giving me an experience I haven't had in games since the old days of Ultima Online. The sense of scale, the sense of adventure, the character building, it all is amazing.

The developer is off to a rough start with their servers and it remains to be seen whether they will be able to pull it off, but it's progressively getting better as they bust their butts working on the game.

Highly recommend if you're looking to recapture that time when MMO's were actually living, breathing, SOCIAL worlds!

I don't very often write reviews or take the time to post in forums. I felt the need to for this, though.

On a whim and bored of my library, I decided to buy SGW3 on sale as it was dirt cheap. I poured through the game obsessively in a few days. Sure, it was buggy. Sure, it had all the flaws of the open world Ubisoft genre. But there was was something so satisfying about the gunplay that it kept me hooked despite it's ups and downs. And yet, there was also something else I couldn't quite place my thumb on that elevated the game to great heights during certain points.

After beating it, I decided to buy SGWC1 and hoo boy. I think the devs finally realized what they're good at.

In a couple words: map design.

Ya'll have some of the best map design I've ever seen in games. The gunplay is still satisfying, and I highly enjoy not being forced to play a specific way (with the exception of the challenges).

But the MAP DESIGN.

In other games, areas feel like cheap one dimensional areas with buildings placed from prebaked assets. There's often times only a couple of ways into the location. Enemies don't pop-in until the player is close, and then they stand around and wait for the player to kill them.

In this game, every area is a puzzle, a labyrinth waiting to be mapped out. Most enemies have a wide patrol range, and their paths are very dynamic.

I haven't even beaten SGWC1 yet but am thoroughly enjoying it. I went ahead and bought SGWC2 ahead of time to support the devs.
