A true capitalist simulator!

Make money by using money- no work necessary! Just sit back, relax, have a nice cigar, some fine whiskey, and watch your earnings rise before your eyes.

Best part is, the whole scheme doesn't require you to put in a literal cent.

The game uses some familiar terminology ("Angel Investors") and familiar characters ("Gus Pollos") in funny ways too.

It's also fun to wonder what kind of scenario needs to be in place for lemonade stands and doughnut shops to rise exponentially in cost. Supply and demand I suppose.

I expected this game to be about art. Instead, it turned out to be a resource management game. In this game, you compete against your counsins to be the top buyer of legitimate paintings. You start off in 1918 and set off to invest the cash you've been given in stocks and plantations around the world.

The many things you do:

- Sign forward contracts to sell goods from your plantations
- Educate yourself in the arts
- Bet on horses (sadly limited to just $10,000 per race)
- Bid on art auctions (beware of fakes)

Timing is key in this game. Unfortunately, the in-game data management is a bit lacking. I found myself jotting down in a notepad where my plantations were, what was being grown there, required amounts to fulfill open forward contracts, and calculating what I can do between dates.

Other notes:

Graphics are fine (it's an old game that doesn't need intensive graphics for what you do). The music is pretty fantastic. Very catchy tunes for each city you visit. A few seem out of place for the location. I'm not so certain about the era (not a music expert).

Concluding note: this is the kind of game that's entertaining until you figure it out and get the hang of maxing out your cash and meeting deadlines. I'll definitely come back to it some time in the future.
