Additionally, if you've only played modpacks like Anomaly or GAMMA and have not purchased the games they use, you owe these devs. I was fully prepared for this game to not be what I was hoping for, and to leave my money with them regardless...but it slaps.

Didn't patch a gamebreaking bug from og release, lmfao. 1/20 standoffs are functional. Don't tell me I have to limit my framerate to 60, restart the .exe, or spin counterclockwise four times and yank SNOY's wingwang to get it working.

This game, upon installation and running has turned my PC's reboot time from instantaneous to over a minute spent "signing in". When I arrive at my desktop it's lacking my taskbar, after a few more seconds a white windows update box pops over my screen with an off-center loading symbol, then after a few more seconds my desktop properly becomes usable. This is a PC constructed with all parts released after 2020, running Windows 11, RX 7900 XT GPU, Ryzen 7 5800X CPU, 2 2tb M.2 drives. I have removed the game and it's anticheat to the best of my ability, deleting leftover files in the directory as well. I have run "DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth" and "sfc /scannow". Nothing is repairing the damage this game and this game alone has done to my PC.

Update: The game closed itself, a pop-up from nProtect GameGuard followed stating that something had forced the anticheat to close itself. I then initiated a restart and for the first time since the game's launch my pc restarts just as it always did before installation of this game. That's almost a week straight of this game's anticheat ruining my Windows even after attempting a full uninstall followed by power-cycling. There were no updates to any drivers or Windows itself that made this happen, this was 100% the anticheat *functionally* being malware on my system and refusing to stop operating.

Game is damn fun though /^v^/

Update 5/3/24: .... Hell no SNOY, the end of my playtime will be on 6/3/24 if this after-the-fact mandatory account linking actually goes through. Hopefully this was just a usual testing of the waters and the burn hurts for a long time. This is beyond unacceptable and I hope Valve will step in to grant unconditional refunds outside SNOY's control unless this gets shelved.

Cool, we got the attention of the EU (we were loud enough to wake dad) so SNOY is pretending to have listened even after their first move was to stop sales in affected territories. nProtect Game Guard still nets this game a negative.
