The puzzle platforming and combat are good and makes for fun exploration. To make something that feels new and fresh in this style of game is pretty impressive.

Pretty much every aspect is fantastic. Not sure what else there is to say.

It's pretty short, and maybe a little jank by modern standards (i.e. only runs windowed, and uses tank controls), but the puzzle is really good.

The English translation seems pretty good and shouldn't cause you any problems.

It took me about 80 minutes to get through it, but you might be able to get it faster depending on how quickly you figure some things out.

Hopefully we see some more from this developer. The way this is structured seems to indicate that there is more to come later?

I was on the edge between recommend and not on this one, but in the end I can't recommend.

The contact damage in this game, especially when fighting bosses, is very annoying. You can get trapped in the boss and take multiple hits. You can't take too many boss hits so it's real easy to get killed by a single mistake because you get trapped in the bosses body.

There's a fair amount of dialog. A lot of it is character building of the NPCs but some of it is lore about the world. The world seems interesting enough that you want to learn more, but it really falls flat. The end just kind of leaves with a "that's it?" feeling. One of the main plot points of the game is never actually revealed. It's really only even hinted at if you find the secret part of the map before the end. Even then it's pretty easy to not connect the dots.

You are forced to traverse the map without fast travel when you pick up ship parts. The first time you pick up a ship part there are some new enemies that activate to make it slightly more treacherous. I thought this was going to be a trend with each part getting more difficult, but it's the exact same enemies for every part in the exact same placesso it just becomes trivial for the next four times you're forced to make the journey.

Everything else about the game is pretty great. It's a shame it's so close to a great metroidvania.

This was a fun surprise of a metroidvania. The unique checkpoint/fast travel system in this game was a lot of fun to interact with which made for a interesting end game challenge. Completed in 6-7 hours so a great choice if you're looking for something on the shorter side.

100% the game on hard. Didn't really feel like anything was too unfair. If you're good at timing parries I don't think you'll find anything too unfair. The invulnerability window on the dodge is probably the hardest thing to get used to.

Overall I think it was slightly easier than Ender Lillies. Make sure to turn the music up for extra ambiance.

Short game, under 2 hours. Pretty fun if you catch it on sale. I purchased it for under a dollar.

This is my favorite deck builder. I think the different mechanics (e.g. movement) add a dimension of game play that hooks me the way that Slay the Spire never did.

Beautiful game with an interesting concept, but wasn't for me. I saw a lot of people compare this to Outer Wilds which maybe set my expectations incorrectly. The game doesn't advance based on your knowledge and understanding of the languages, but based on the knowledge you have unlocked for your character. You don't need to retain much if any knowledge yourself.

There was only one puzzle in the whole game that really made me think. The rest of the game is solved by searching every corner for clues then guessing or brute forcing since the game will tell you when you're right or wrong.

With mouse control, the vast majority of your time is spent watching your character walk after clicking. There are lots of times where you have to sit and wait 20 seconds or so for your character to walk which becomes increasingly frustrating when you need to backtrack because you missed something. You can use a controller and gain free movement of your character so it's less point and click like, but that is even less fun having to walk to everywhere just to see if there is an interaction. Maybe the joystick control is less boring in the long run?

The art is very nice, and is the only real reason to run through it. The game play elements that do exist are pretty basic and don't add much (i.e. there is no challenge here). The story seems interesting at first, but falls flat towards the end.

If you like the art style and want to kill about 3 hours, maybe buy it on deep discount.
