Early Access Review
[Early access review]

I would not recommend for the following reasons:
The game is optimized like a bread toaster, so even if you run with a GTX 780 with SLI (or without) with a intel i7, you'll fae performance issues.
Now, the argument would most likely be that it is an early access game and we can be sure to expect some performance issues, and that is true. However, ARMA 3, which runs on the same engine, has the exact same performance issues as the DayZ standalone has.

Another reason not to recommend this in early access is how the updates are being distributed. They are barely released any and those who are released, rarely tackle with the more infuriating, game breaking issues, such as, fallin through the floor, zombies walking through doors/walls and many more.
What is most infuriating about this, is that these issues were relevant in the previous DayZ which was a mod for ARMA 2.

It's also silly that the ARMA 2 mod on DayZ is miles ahead when it comes to development. When it comes to RPG elements, guns or even vehicles. You'd ask yourself why the developers have delayed for oh, so long in order to implement any form of transportation for you, so you don't have to wander endlessly for hours on end in order to reach your destination.
