The good:

- Content is plentiful and the map is huge, lots to explore.
- The stories are well thought out. The plot is interesting enough to keep you playing.
- The RPG elements are more dominant here than they were in Origins

The bad:

- Runs OK but considerably worse FPS than Origins.
- There is no 'definite' end to the main story arc. This makes the game feel grindy at times.
- Upgrading weapons is way too expensive.
- KEY PLOT POINT ARE ONLY EXPLAINED IN THE DLC. As such, the game is only worth its salt as an Assassin's Creed game if you get the season pass.

All in all, I recommend getting this game, it is sure to captivate you and keep you playing for a good while. The graphics and gameplay mechanics are good. The controversial microtransactions are kept in the background enough for you to not notice them as a gameplay feature during normal play. The season pass is a must, and for what you get, I think it's double worth it.
