Alright, so I hate leaving bad reviews on games, but I honestly just didn't enjoy this game especially compared to the other Resident Evil games I've played.

The story isn't bad, it isn't really amazing either but it's serviceable. The real problem I had was the actual game play itself, there are only two modes of movement...run...and run faster with parkour slides and vaults. It just didn't feel like a Resident Evil game to me.

My overall play time totaled up to about 31 hours, and that is for all 4 campaigns. So, the way the game is broken up is into 4 different campaigns for 4 different characters (really it's 8 because in each campaign you can choose to play as the title character or their companion). The story lines, while different, all converge with each other at certain points. I actually thought that was kind of cool, seeing scenarios from the different vantage points.

Combat is very run and gun, as much as you can do that in third person but with limited ammo as per the RE mantra. However, the enemies in this game are some of the most frustrating nonsense. You know in RE4 where the enemies would sometimes morph into the bug heads and how that got frustrating with your limited ammo reserves...well it's that turned up to 11. Almost every enemy after a certain point in the story morphs into something else when you kill it...sometimes more than once. It becomes VERY tedious after you go through it a few times, and that is for all 4 campaigns.

Honestly, play the game if you really want to play through the story and you can get it cheap. Otherwise, just watch a play through. Speaking of which, I have one if you want to watch it to get a sense of the game. Check out the link below and drop a sub (it's free) if you don't mind, it would be really cool of you.

This was actually a really cool experience, and clocking in at 5 hours it was worth the money.

The premise of the game is a little silly, given that an emergency line operator can't just deputize a radio show host (or at least I wouldn't think so) but over all it was a really fun concept that I think most people will enjoy.

The game has kind of a cell shaded art style which looked really nice, the music and sounds of the game were good. All in all, a strong recommend.

If you'd like to see some game play of it, you can check out the link below to my play through:

I really loved how this DLC turned the game format on its head.

With The Gloom Below, it provides more story content/gameplay with new enemies and mechanics. More importantly though, it provides you with a Roguelite style campaign to play through.

I thought is was extremely well done and it being a free DLC is unbelievable, they could easily have charged extra for this.

I really enjoyed this game. It was a really pretty game to look at and the story was pretty entertaining to work though. There are a lot of puzzles and the game itself is fairly action oriented, there is a lot of combat at times.

The combat itself wasn't bad, there is dodging and weapon types to counter certain enemies and you also get to use some cool powers that you get from killing bosses. That said though, the combat does occasionally get repetitive. There are also some survival horror type elements at play. This game has a lot going for it.

It's a decently long game too, took me about 10 hours to beat, so there is a lot of entertainment value there. Definitely recommend for a fun survival horror RPG experience.

Continuing the story from the first game, the second one takes you to a new location with even more cursed VHS tape centric puzzles to solve.

The game clocked in for me at 4 hours to finish, I am not an achievement hunter by nature so you can get more life out of it if you are. I will say though that the puzzles in this game are no where near as straight forward as those in the first game. Some of them seem impossibly obscure at times, and I think more than a few people will struggle to figure out what the game is asking you to do.

There was also an unfortunate bug that I ran into, where if I hadn't been able to look online for the solution, then the it essentially brought the game to a stand still. Without giving too much away, it involved microfilm....so if you get to a point where it seems like you're missing something involving the microfilm, it's likely because you are and the game broke.

Overall though, I enjoyed the atmosphere of this game as much as the first one and I cannot wait to see where the story goes in the next one.

This was a fun shortish (~3 hour) horror game, which I think did a pretty good job of creating a tense atmosphere. The puzzles were generally fairly simply to figure out, minus a few that started to get more obscure.

It definitely seemed like a lower budget game but not really in any way that made me feel the game wasn't well crafted. I recommend the game for someone that wants a short spooky adventure through a derelict ship.

This was a pretty cool take on the anomaly detection/report formula, you use a camera to reset things that have changed or are changing. It has a sanity mechanic, similar to other games. However, in this game there is an overarching story to be told and puzzles to solve along the way.

The main game was pretty short for me (~2 hours) but your mileage will vary depending on what difficulty you play on and how many times you pass out. There are also additional modes unlocked once you beat the main game, so there is value there for your money for sure.

This is a game I was excited to check out but took me a while to get around to playing. I am glad I did though, it was a pretty great experience.

Playtime took around 5 hours for me, which felt like good pacing for the story. Some of the puzzles were a little obscure and wound up taking a while to figure out what the game wanted from me. Overall though, this game was very similar to visage (or I guess PT as well) in tone and I loved it for that.

This was a pretty short game, took me about 2 hours to beat, but I have to say this was a really fun experience. The concept of the game was very creative and the loosely told story had me very curious as to what the background and lore of the game were. I definitely recommend this game to anyone that wants a creative and fun horror experience.

Hard to beat the value for your money with a 10 game anthology in this game. It's definitely worth the price.

The game took me about 6 hours to beat, and the games you play range in graphics style and overall quality considerably. Many of the games are pretty great and would have made excellent stand alone games, there is at least one that is not up to par with the others but 1 out of 10 isn't bad.

There are definitely moments of humor baked into the experience and I found myself looking forward to seeing what each game had to offer as I played through. There are, as of writing this, 5 of these collections (this being the first). The quality of this experience has me excited to check out the rest of the games in the series.
