There's a bug where you randomly lose control of your character. Either she gets locked in place for a second or she zips off in a straight line in a random direction on her own. In a game where pixel perfect precision is required this is a game destroying issue. It happened to me 3 times in 2 separate runs using two different characters.

I had no choice but to refund since this problem will lead to many deaths that are not your fault. If the devs ever come back to work on this game again and fix it I'd re-buy it since the rest of it seems good quality, but until then it's essentially unplayable.

I don't even drive this truck. I just spent 90 minutes dressing it up so it can look cool as it forever sits in my garage.

This is the last in the line of half-baked, un-tested, and ultimately broken add-ons that we've come to expect from Colossal Order. Some of the hotels look really nice, most are fairly average, but the park assets that come with this set are actually very good, featuring ponds, community gardens, and corner restaurants. If all you want are some new decorations this DLC is fine, but if you want to micromanage a functioning hotel chain look elsewhere.

Hotel profitability is tied to its popularity, which is determined by the hotel's proximity to areas based on four categories: sightseeing, shopping, business, and nature. Imagine going to Disney World. There's a 5-star luxury hotel next to it. Who would you reckon is the main demographic that would stay there? Families? Tourists? No, clearly it is middle aged business men in town for a conference. You can build a theme park, plant your resort, and watch yourself bleed money because no one wants to stay in it because it is not surrounded by enough office buildings. This hard requirement of needing to be next to certain zoned types for a hotel to be popular is absurd.

So you give in and surround your hotel with offices. Now it looks ridiculous having all these buildings clustered around your fancy hotel, but people are still not satisfied. I zoned 282 tiles around my hotel and the tally still reads 0/30 in terms of meeting office demand. A similar situation exists for commercial. Sometimes the tally will rise to, say, 18/30, then drop back to zero for no discernible reason. The buildings are static so I don't know why the hotel registers as having lost some. Do hotels NEED to have every bar filled 100%? No, but expect to lose thousands of dollars weekly if they're not at least close.

Then, despite being ranked only 20% popularity and ranked a flat zero for both office and shopping demands, my guest count skyrockets to over 800 when the maximum capacity is 550. After a moment it resets to 165, then repeats the process. After doing this a couple times it is now permanently stuck at having only 165 guests no matter what I zone or set the cost to, leaving me with a weekly net loss of $900.

This is just the final last minute attempt by Colossal Order to squeeze whatever money remains from the Cities fanbase before Skylines 2 drops in a couple months. The concept was fine but breaking down a hotel's success into these sub-categories is unnecessary, even assuming it worked correctly. Don't reward Colossal Order's laziness and/or incompetence with this bug-ridden DLC, unless all you want is some non-functional assets used purely for decoration.

Well right away "Full Controller Support" isn't true. From the main menu after you enter a sub-menu like Options, when you return the controller ceases to do anything and even the mouse cursor disappears leaving you no option but to Alt+F4 to start over. I couldn't even start the game until I unplugged the controller and went full M+KB. Then I couldn't figure out what the game wanted me to do next. I wandered around for a while, set out some tables but couldn't figure out how to stock them. The town was empty and I can't leave so I uninstalled.

Barely even functions. 1920x1080 Fullscreen cuts off 90% of the screen, as does Windowed and Borderless. Randomly Borderless went to full screen at some point and worked. But the sound periodically becomes a jumbled mess and at random it decides to not detect the controller anymore. And there's no setting to decrease music/SFX volume, just turn them on or off entirely. I had to go into Windows Sound Mixer and lower the volume to 5% because the default was blowing out my eardrums. Absolute kusoge of a port. Avoid.

This is, dare I say, a must buy add-on if you strive for realistic looking cities. I don't build European themed ones but was surprised to see many of the homes included here look very American and fit my city's aesthetic perfectly. These all should have been base game assets and look infinitely better than what we got by default since none of these mutate into space pods when they evolve to levels 4 and 5. There's also a lot of detail here, like wall and roof textures, curtains in the windows, beveled patterns on the front doors. The pictures on the store page don't do it justice.

I don't know what genre this music is but it's one I'd never normally listen to. That said, there's quite a few really catchy songs here I found myself enjoying a lot. If I had to compare it to anything a lot of the songs sound like they are from the soundtrack of the 2001 Josie and the ♥♥♥♥♥cats movie, if that helps at all. I have no idea why this is the cheapest out of all the CS radio stations on sale, but that was the only reason I took a gamble on it and it paid off. Worth getting since not just is it cheap, but most of the songs are fully voiced and sound like real music you'd hear on an actual radio station, and not just "video game BGM" type songs.

It has Nakoruru, the best character in the game. All other DLCs are now unnecessary.

Looking at this DLC in 2023 it's tough to justify at first glance. You only get 4 unique buildings, compared to something like the Heart of Korea pack which gets you around 60 buildings for the same price. What you end up with is a performance stage (upgradable, so actually 3 versions of it), a side area for fans to gather, a broadcast studio, and an old-style night club. There is a (very) small mini-game aspect where you can adjust the security budget, control ticket prices, or apply a couple policies to help your concerts be a success. The better the band's popularity, the more attendees, and thus the more money you can gain.

So while there's not a ton gameplay wise, you're mainly buying this to get the new radio station that comes with 15 songs. I was actually surprised to find out the music here is not awful. I wasn't expecting a lot, but all the songs were enjoyable and sounded like something you would hear on an actual radio. Not one made me want to turn the station off, and some were good enough to listen to outside the game.

I put off buying this for 4 years because it just looked like it had no real meat to it, but I can say on sale for $2.79 I definitely got my money's worth and wish I'd bought it sooner. I mainly bought it because I wanted the music club asset, but the songs were an unexpected and nice bonus. Picture of the club for reference, since no image of it seems to exist anywhere else on the internet: https://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2912338599
