It's great. So many different ways to set yourself up; the game has come A LONG way since it's first release and if you're hesitant because of it's release time, please give it a try. I can assure you the game now is polished, great story, active community, fun events, fun weapons, etc. The seasons have been super rewarding and you absolutely do not need Fallout 1st if you don't want too - it just has some ease of life additions and by no means are you locked out of anything without it. CAMPS and Shelters have just been getting crazier with people's designs and the new styles that come out.
