The creators ported HL2 from it's old version of the Source Engine to the current version of it. And since 2004 the engine has changed visually. Most of the changes are subtle but are nice touches. This is my reason and most likely other's reason to revisit City 17, the canals, the coast, Ravenholm, Nova Prospekt, and the Citadel again. Also bonus points for adding Ross Scott in the Community Commentary.
