EDIT February 3rd of 2025, and we're back in the same position. After almost 2 years of some peace from the typical Gaijin stuff, were back baby!

This time around, Gaijin wants to introduce auctions to the market! WooHoo! Another avenue to lock content behind a IRL pay-wall with increasingly insane prices driven by the 1% of the games credit card spenders. All while announcing on the same day, BR changes, which themselves aren't all bad changes, however without increasing the Top BR in multiplayer and decreasing compression clearly inst their priority, these are poor changes overall.

This game has a lot of promise, the game 𝘤𝘢𝘯 be really fun, but the developer of the game is the real reason the game cannot be recommended.

I've played War Thunder for over 10 years now and the developers are the real reason I cannot recommend this game. They continue to leave terrible bugs in game for ages without fixing them, for example, a bug that caused small rockets to cause large amounts of damage to bases in air battles was reverted 7 months after the issue was acknowledged by the game devs themselves. They are resistant to implement many suggested QoL features or bug fixes reported by players that don't make them $$$ and they continue to make what was already a very "grindy" game, even more-so, all while gas-lighting the playerbase. Gaijin also allows terrible ethics run rampant in their company, an employee of the company had their health records exposed to other co-workers and higher ups in the company, by his own boss. If thats not bad enough, the boss recommended the health professional to his employee, then abused his friendship with said "professional" to gain access to their medical records used them against said employee.

Overall Gaijin as a business, is very greedy, and very corrupt, and they have ruined their game themselves and they seem to have no desire to provide a better game for their core playerbase. All while insulting the people who actually want to play their game and pay their bills.
