Early Access Review
8 long years finally they released it as an EA game. I played non stop for 11 hours since it launched, the experience i would say it's quite...boring. Tons of repetitive quest such as "Family Feud", Land lord quest, finding someones daughter. I mean come, all factions have the same quests, at least make it different if the quest giver is on another country. Furthermore its buggy as hell, during my 11 hours of playtime, the game crashed 5 times when i was trying to save or load up my character inventory. Combat is fine, there are room for improvements but it is better than warband in my opinion. And dont you dare say "iTs EaRly aCCesS", I am sick of this sentence.

The game itself is not bad, however it still has a lot of room for improvement. First I will like to start with the games graphic, it is amazing in a ARPG, as Diablo 3 and other ARPG have lower details because memory issues, but what makes Wolcen stands out for me is its skill tree, it has a unique path of building your character and unleash its full potential. Spell effects looks really cool but some need to brighten the visual as it is sometimes difficult to see.
Lets talk about gameplay and why this game still need improvement. Start with combat, it is so clunky, to the point it is frustrating to play. For example, the dodge rolling mechanic, it has charges, and the recharge time does not match with the pace of combat, it is way slower if you encounter a large pack of monsters, pulled too many and ran out of charges, you will stuck between mobs. For spell casters(that what i played so far) is the most clunky, sometimes you press a spell and it doesnt cast, because the previous spell is not finished. Overall combat needs major improvement as it is not fluid. Second, Class identity, they let you pick a class in character creation, however you can still build into a warrior even you picked a wizard or ranger. If i can build the character however i want, why picking a class at start, what is the point of picking one? It does not make sense to me. Lastly some aspect of the game is way to similar to Diablo 3, I mean Cursed Chest, blue and yellow elite enemies with affixes? come on, at least give them a new color or name, they are probably not the only things that are almost identical to D3, just have to keep playing and find out.
In summary I like this game, I had a lot of fun playing it, but it still needs a lot of work to even compete with PoE and D3 or even upcoming D4.

This review will divide into 2 types of players: Newbies who did not play D1 or D2 and veteran player who played D1 or D2
or returning player.

NEWBIES:
For Newbies, this game is recommended for people who want a simple looter shooter experience. However the endgame is very grindy and most of the advance content cannot be completed unless you have a guild or group of friends. As for classes there are no specific build variations because none of them really matters that much, unlike Warframe or Borderlands, the game wants you to shoot as much as possible. When it comes to PvE, the casual contents are simple, such as world quests, bounties, and dungeon(strikes), they are not as rewarding as advance content such as nightfall(harder dungeons) and raids. PvP is a fast way to get gear, since winning a match will give you some gear 100%, if..you are good enough to win that is. Gambits is a PvPvE mode, this mode is mainly PvE, however you can also kill the player on the other team in order to slow down their progress, I do enjoy this part of the game. So if you are looking for a pretty graphic and simple looter shooter this is the game for you!

Veteran or returning players:
I have spent almost 2000 hours on this game when it was launched on Battle.Net. I've played through the raids, gambits, strikes, PvP etc, but after i got tired of this game, the grind isn't fun, not that i am not willing grind, it just not fun to grind. The gear you obtain doesn't even matter because the only stat they have is the light level, and with some somewhat useful perks attached to some gear, only Exotic quality item will have an unique look and effect. I think old players will understand how to felt when the quests literally tells you to complete some world quests in order to get a "powerful gear" ingram. If you think Bungi escaped from Activision will change the flavor of their content then you are wrong, same stuff same content. Story is just garbage as usual because adding grind in the main campaign for Shadowkeep is totally necessary to tell a GREAAAT story. If you are veteran and you like the game, good for you, i won't tell you to stop playing, and ignore everything i said, but if you are returning player and wish to give this game a go agane, pls don't it is a waste of money and should go save it and buy Borderlands 3.

Dark souls 3.. Played on both consoles and PC, one thing I want to say is playing with mouse and keyboard is not recommended, because PC version control is not converted nor its optimized for mouse and keyboard.
Now for the game itself: this series is known for its difficulties, therefore took me awhile to beat the game, some bosses can be really boring such as yhorm the giant, you can only deal significant amount of damage to him by using Storm Ruler (A sword you can pick up near his throne). Combat is awful like other soul games, i hope they can make some tweaks on their next Souls game, because the combat is cluncky and unsatisfying, their latest game Sekiro does a good job of combat, so i have faith in them. Other than combat, i have no complain about the game, 8/10

I wish there is a "Mixed" or "Neutral" for review, because I have mixed feeling about this game.

IS THIS A GOOD RPG GAME?
The answer is yes, this is a rich, well made RPG game, in some degree even better than Witcher 3(which is my favorite). The environment itself is incredible, the mountains, the buildings and cities. Also it has ship battles which is one of my favorite thing to do when I travel on sea. However the quests can be boring sometimes, a lot of them just tell you to kill this and kill that but I guess that is inevitable for RPG games.

now for this question:
IS THIS A GOOD ASSASSIN'S CREED GAME?
The answer is, no. It is not a good assassin's creed game. You see they took away some of the key part of the assassin's creed series. The most obvious is the assassinate, in previous AC, assassinate are one shot to any enemies(i dont know about AC Origin cuz i didnt play it), but since they added RPG elements to the game, they cannot have enemies just get one shot by a stealth kill, therefore took away what makes AC fun in the first place. For example, an important character in the story that you have to assassinate but he is 1 level above you or same level, you cannot one shot the target regardless how sneaky you are, he will just get stabbed and get back up and start attacking you like nothing happened. Also the feeling of you killing a key character is very unsatisfying, previous AC, killing a key character gives a little cutscene, for this game, nope. Those cultists you killed means very little to the story and the only purpose they serve is to give you doritos to upgrade your spear, after you took them down just shows: "congrats they are dead, here is your doritos."
Lastly of course the microtransactions... seriously Ubisoft? you gonna sell us XP boosts in a SINGLE PLAYER game?! and those cool outfits cost 6-10 bucks? remember this is a SINGLE PLAYER game, it does not offer any multiplayer content. XP boost and gold boost is just dumb and greedy, what is this? Warframe? I still have hope in you, Ubisoft, you are one of the good AAA company these days, but this ♥♥♥♥ just makes me sad pls dont go full EA.

Yes I recommend this game, even I suck at it I still love playing it. The combat is brutal and satisfying, story is kinda meh but who cares about story anyway. Every boss is unique and have multiple ways of defeating them, though I wish they don't hit so hard. One thing I was a bit disappointed is customization of your character, that means other than your prosthetic arm and weapons you are wearing the same yellow, hobo looking robe the entire game. Here is a suggestion, why not give player some of those cool Samurai armor after you defeat a boss? or some kind of ninja suit that you can get from exploring the world, they don't necessarily need to give player stats but just to look cool. That will make these boss fights much more rewarding.

Darksider series is always one of my favourite, their story and combat is amazing, but for this new one, I am a bit disappointed, it's like they trying to combine Devil May Cry into Darksoul. You might say "oh you just bad at these type of Darksoulish game" Yes, you can say that because I am bad at those games, but when it comes to a Darksider game I didn't expect i would die at a place or a boss 200 times.
THE GOOD:
Combat as usual is satisfying and engaging, a lot of combos you can choose from to destroy your enemy. and also the environment is well designed. One thing i really like is the puzzles, new way to go through a wall or using your ability to solve it.
THE BAD:
There are many bads I can point out but I will just go for some of the most frustrating ones.
1.remember I mentioned combo above? well your combo attack can be interrupted if there is a second mob attacking you, and you won't be able to perform a dodge while you casting your combo attack.
2. Chaos form, this ability is supposed to destroy everything and deal tons of damage, but for this new one is just a panic button where it saves you from dying and the damage is trash.
3. Enemy blocking and sponge. I hate when enemy block my attack in any video game, but this one really pisses me off, i am a powerful horseman with a whip that can whip a planet in half but my attack gets blocked by a skeleton boi who got a metal scrap mace??? the blocking completely mitigates my damage and i have to wait they attack then i can finish them off. Also some enemies are spongy like the Alpha sycophant, if you pulled more than 3 of them you better prepare to die because it is very hard to dodge their attack and they takes almost 10 hits to kill one of them.
4. Enemy leaping/lunging. I am sure a lot people found frustrated about this mechanics of for almost all the mobs. When you run from the mobs you aggroed, but bad new for you, you won't run far because the mob will launch itself like a Bazooka leap right onto you.
5. Progression. The leveling system seem to be useless and skill points are not that important because it barely helps your character progress through the levels, it seems like the stronger you get your enemies gets stronger too, a level 1 mob can still hit you like a truck.
I would say this is a brave attempt on a new Darksider game, but personally I do not like this type of Darksider, it's really frustrating for me to play, and felt like I have little control what the enemy does and how I can counter their attack except pressing "dodge" repeatedly. but I will try to finish this game nonetheless.
