What an absolutely incredible game. Honestly couldn't recommend it more.

The story is fantastic, and you really feel the impact of your choices, as they affect outcomes and options later on in the game. Choices that you thought might've been insignificant are sometimes not. The game follows 3 different androids, with their own unique stories and personalities, as a growing issue of android deviancy arises, which causes androids to develop free will. The finale of the game can end in a totally different way, depending on how your stories play out on each character, which gives great replay value, and makes every first playthrough different. Developing different relationships with different characters can unlock different outcomes too (So, if you had an unfavourable relationship with someone, you may not be able to access a future dialogue option, or action, which may or may not be a bad thing).

Gameplay is mostly consistent of quick time events and investigating, which, in some moments, can be extremely tense, as missing too many quick times can really mess up the outcome. Though. the controls for mouse and keyboard are a bit weird, and make quicktime events extra hard imo. Also, there is one section that I found that M+KB straight up didn't work, so I would highly recommend you use a controller.

For the best experience, I'd recommend playing on the "experienced" difficulty, as your choices will have more impact, and the fear of losing a character will be much more intense - a really great way of playing this game.

Overall, an absolutely solid game, well worth the money, and really plays with your emotions.

The last time I played this game was about 7 or 8 years ago on the xbox 360, when it was free on games with gold. I loved it back then, and playing through it again is a real nostalgia trip. Camera is a bit wonky, which is my only complaint thus far. Combat is hack and slash-y, and looks pretty cool. Platforming is surprising fluid too. Graphics aren't too bad considering this got remastered back in 2015. Great game.

Thought I should probably write a review for this.

Honestly one of the best games I've played.

235 hours and still didn't 100% complete the game. That really gives you a sense of the scale of this game. I 100% completed AC origins after 140hrs, DLC and all. (UPDATE: After about 265 hours I fully completed the game with all the DLCs minus the enigmata ostraka's)

Game looks amazing, the combat is great, with a great story. What more could you ask for? It's well worth every penny imo.

It doesn't feel like an assassin's creed game in terms of it's story, so if you only play AC games for that, I wouldn't recommend this game unless you were planning to play the first DLC, which does provide a small snippet of lore into the AC universe that we're familiar with. However, imo that was still a poorer DLC than the 2nd (Fate of atlantis), which has amazing environments and a pretty good narrative.

The game is a bit grindy, so keep that in mind if that's not your cup of tea. But honestly, the grind isn't noticeable since I just kept wanting to play the game. It kept me playing.

Player choices make the main story and side quests much more interesting. And while some choices have little impact, others can completely change the outcome of a quest/questline or in the case of one specific quest, change the environment. I would've liked to see more choices that changed the environment but oh well.

The addition of bosses in assassins creed was a refreshing concept in origins, but the bosses didn't really feel like they had much significance. In odyssey, you get to fight iconic mythical creatures, which is something I would've loved to have seen in origins and not the "animus glitch gods" that didn't look real. My only pet peeve is that you can't re-fight the bosses due to them being part of quests.

Story outside of the animus is meh, but I personally never really cared for that when playing AC anyway.

Overall a solid game, well worth the money.

I'm not a massive star wars nerd. I've never seen a single movie. But I enjoy the universe, and this game is fantastic if you can look past all the bugs.

The story is great. Characters feel real, with emotional backstories. Your robot buddy, BD-1, is the most adorable thing ever, and the relationship between him and Cal is really nice.

Combat is very hard, but rewarding. It looks, and feels flashy, especially when you start to unlock more skills and abilities. I would recommend playing on a high difficulty setting like jedi master at least, to get a challenging experience that forces you to try and learn your enemies moves, and parry timings, as you get beaten up again and again. Planning on playing through on grandmaster on another playthrough.

Platforming and exploration are a big part of this game. Exploring to find extra stims, or essence to increase your max health or force meter is totally worth it. If you're not into platforming then it's likely that you won't enjoy a good proportion of the game. There are also a few puzzles dotted about, nothing too major, but it's worth mentioning that they do exist.

For a AAA game, it has an unusual amount of bugs. Model pop-ins during cutscenes, enemies refusing to attack you while jittering in an animation, weird clipping through terrain and sometimes the refusal to climb up a ledge, leaving your character glitching out on the edge. I don't think I've ever seen a game of this calibre have so many bugs.

Regardless. I think the game is excellent on a whole, and is definitely worth buying if you're into star wars, or generally just like very challenging, melee based combat. Definitely had a blast playing it, and it left me wanting more.

Updating my review yet again since that MH wilds trailer, and I'm now at over 1000 hours in this game.

Honestly one of the best games I've ever played. I literally can't praise monster hunter enough. Just play this game if you haven't already.

Wow. I was skeptical about this considering some of the negative reviews. But this game was really good.

Pros:
- Great story - I actually preferred the story much more than I did the previous two, despite many saying that the story was rather dull, I thoroughly enjoyed it. Lara felt like the centrepiece of it all, and it felt great to play through it. I completed the main story in 24hrs while doing most of the side stuff I could.

- Lots of exploration - love exploring in games and this game provides a hell of a lot of it, from riddles to solve on obelisks to hidden crypts or challenge tombs that are only visible by thoroughly exploring the environment.

- Stunning visuals - I played on a mixture of medium and high settings and the game still looked incredible. It was very pretty to look at, and the cinematic camera angles while entering certain areas really helped this out.

- Side missions - Some side missions were actually very lengthy, and while playing through most of them, none of them felt the same as the last. These are worth doing to receive exclusive gear and extra resources or gold.

- Merchants - Gold ore is now used to sell for gold coins to buy items from merchants, which is a welcome change for me. Jade ore is worth more than gold, but is rarer of course. Upgrades for carrying capacity, new weapons and special outfits can be purchased from merchants.

- Stealth combat - Yes yes yes! I loved the new take on stealth combat. It felt like a much more viable option than run and gun. Something I didn't like about the previous two was that open combat was forced too often, and distracted enemies would never be isolated easily enough to stealth takedown them. Hiding against shrubs on a wall, or using mud to camoflage into muddy walls are two new features that were added. Mud can also be used to prevent enemies with thermal goggles detecting you in vegetation.

- A large variety of weapons - Most of which are purchased from merchants, others recieved through side missions or story playthrough. There's weapons to fit every playstyle, with a large variety of bows (Because obviously the bow is the best, and most enjoyable weapon) to fit all playstyles.

- The skill system and UI Changes - All skills are now on a single menu, with different colours indicating each type. This is a good change, and makes the menu less confusing. Skills unlocked through the story, and challenge tombs are also indicated on this screen, which is also nice. Weapon upgrades menu is also much clearer.

- Outfits - Some outfits are full body outfits, most of which don't provide any buffs. There are upper and lower body outfits, which are often replicas of old garments that lara finds from crypts, and can craft these afterwards to provide buffs such as extra xp, quieter footsteps, or health regen. There are also full body outfits that make lara look like herself from tomb raider II or the original tomb raider reboot, just for the laughs I guess.

Cons:
-Optimisation - This is a bit mixed to be honest, as for the most part I managed to stay above 60fps on a mixutre of medium and high settings with a gtx 1060 and an i56500 with 8GB of RAM. However, some cutscenes would completely freeze for about 10 seconds, causing unsynced lips and kinda ruined immersion at some points. This freezing also commonly occurred when entering or exiting certain challenge tombs. Not sure if this is just due to my poor HDD, but I would recommend that you have a high end PC before buying this. If it isn't, then this level of optimisation is not acceptable for a AAA title.

-Audio problems - This is a known issue. At some points, ambient noises and music would completely stop, and sometimes the sound would go altogether (This usually happened at the lagspikes I mentioned before). Also, the audio would randomly increase for certain sounds, or voices, which was kind of annoying but didn't happen often. This kind of issue is also not acceptable.

- Hand holding - While it isn't as bad as the other two for this, too much hand-holding is never a good idea. Painted edges, walls and obvious climbing spots ruin the realism of the environment, and while I wasn't expecting this to change in this game, it would have been nice to have the freedom to explore whereever I wanted to, and be able to make and figure out my own path to objectives. Maybe this was a bit too much to ask, but it would have been nice.

- No variation in NPCs - Most NPCs have the same face and voice, which comes across as rather lazy especially when there's multiple side missions with what seems like the same person, but isn't.

Overall. This is a fantastic game. Ignore the negative reviews. If you loved the previous two games, I'm positive you will enjoy this just as much. I can't wait to see what's in store for future tomb raider games.

This was actually a VERY good DLC, much better than the first one imo. The main story quests took me about 10 hours to complete, and so I'd say it's worth the price. The story itself was actually pretty good, and the minibosses within it were actually a challenge. I personally spent time after the main story completely finishing everything, and I had a blast.
The map size of this DLC is MUCH bigger than the first, and even bigger than it first seems due to spoiler stuffz.
Overall, this is a great DLC and you should definitely pick it up if you liked the first DLC and this game in general.

This DLC is extemely short, just to start off with. It took me just a few hours to finish the main story quests. Personally, I didn't like how the game auto boosted you to level 45 but hey, thats just me, maybe you guys would like to skip the levelling. The story itself is actually very good, and expands more on the hidden ones as a creed, which in my opinion, should have been part of the main game.

It's an alright DLC to pick up, but tbh I'd wait for a sale to buy this, you can probably get it for like £3, which would be a very good price for the quality of the DLC. But for me, the price isn't really worth the amount of main content it gives you.

Amazing game. Definitely one you should pick up if you like RPG's as this isn't a typical assassins creed game. But that's what makes this game so unique and in my opinion, the best AC to date.

Pros:
-Very lengthy game, took me 40hrs of playtime to finish the story (While doing side quests to get to the reccomended level for each mission)
-Good combat that is a little bit harder to learn than the previous game as it's no longer just press a button to counter in any direction. This made the game feel fresh and new, and actually makes the combat more enjoyable when you master it.
-Amazing visuals. The game looks fantastic if you can run it well enough.
-Decent enough engame content. You can fight gods, war elephants or continue doing side quests. However, the game could add more in this regard.
-Story was great. I originally said the story was mediocre, but after replaying it, it's really not. Really good story which follows the story of Bayek, and the "origins" of the assassin's.

Cons:
-Poor optimization. Some say this is down the amount of anti-crack they have embedded in the game's code, forcing high CPU usage, which can often be bad if you dont have a phenomenal CPU. Game ran decent on my rig, with frames only dropping to about 35-40 in the biggest cities like alexandria, but otherwise upwards of 70-90 in deserts and the wilderness.
-Cant dye outfits (This is just a personal one). I would have liked to see an armour colouring option, but meh, thats just me.
-Side missions are suuuuuper repetitive. They often consist of rescuing someone, or searching an area, which is one of the most boring things about this game.
-Little to no story outside of the animus.
