If you enjoyed Borderlands 2, you'll enjoy this. The writing is sharper, the gameplay more fun and refined, enemies actually balanced and fair (for example - the badasses, despite spawning more, are nowhere near as unfair and hyper-overpowered as they were in 2 at times), and the platforming elements actually work better than you'd imagine given the game is an FPS.

If you want more Borderlands and want to play this, just one piece of advice: wait for it to go on sale. The $60/ regional equivalent asking price is absolutely absurd even for the most hardcore of Borderlands fans, especially given the game is actually a considerable amount shorter than 2 and is based on the same engine (which at times makes it feel like a very ambitious DLC expansion.)

I get to run around Las Vegas and its surrounding areas as a suit-wearing and fedora wearing African-American teenage girl with my reliable best friends, a mutant giant grandma and a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ROBOT DOG.

10/10 game.

Drop what you're doing, immediately. Buy this. Play it.

Just be wary of the infuriating difficulty spike at the end and you'll have fun.

It's complicated. I loved Saints Row IV, but at the same time I just felt "meeeeh" the entire way through, regards the fact that, and it is true, an expanded Saints Row 3 DLC.

However, I enjoyed every moment of it. If you enjoyed SR3 and are craving more, and can look past the technological side of things and rehashed game map, then go right ahead. I will, however, vastly recommend that you wait until it is on sale, because £39.99 GBP is a touch too much, given what it is.

If you're not getting this as part of the Season Pass, look past it. It's not worth it, otherwise.

Highly "eh". Buy the Season Pass, I can't justify buying this on its own.
