A short but beautiful game that explores a girl's experience of sorrow, communicating through art -- in the discovery of new colors, settings, and skills -- what is too difficult to share with words. It's worthy of at least a couple play-throughs, totaling 10-15 hours, but leaves a dramatic impression that you'll carry long after the end credits roll. I'm thrilled to see what this studio works on next!

Solid sequel to a solid co-op FPS. L4D2 keeps all the well-known strengths of the first game and makes improvements where they were called for: event timing, placement of various enemies and tools to [burn] them, more complicated group behaviors of the mob zombies, tangent details and mini-game features on walls and in carnivals, greater emphasis on group diversity online etc. Point is, if you liked the first, you'll like the second more, online or off. It was a much-needed update to the arcade style of zombie combat that is sure to bring back memories of your childhood and bring forth bad dreams to your nonetheless irregular sleeping schedule.
