Confused at the positive reception, there was no story to speak of and the gameplay never got more interesting past the first 3 minutes. (Played without VR)

Addiction. Addiction is.... Delicious....

Very boring, the gameplay loop is extremely simple and quite uninteractive. I refunded after one run because there is barely any skill expression, and it consists of all the worst parts from both roguelikes and autobattlers. The game is fine, it's well made I guess, I did not run into any issues with the game itself but i cannot recommend it due to how boring it is.

A very good boss rush game in a 1930s cartoon style.
the music is stellar, the bosses are creative and the controls are good. note: default binds for a controller are pretty bad.
This game should be played with a controller though.
