Great Monster Hunter Game

Wilds is a great monster hunter game and definitely has its charm. The gameplay feels great and cater more towards the player feeling like a badass, new features for weapons and additions makes the game different enough from previous most recent titles to make the players feel as tho we are relearning what we already know. As a newer audience to the monster hunter series myself (first game being world -> rise) it feels like a fresh new world to enjoy.

More accessible (?)

The game does feel like it is being made to be more accessible towards newcomers, shown how it feels somewhat easier and having less time getting into trouble in most hunts especially the faster hunt time compared to previous titles. I've seen some fair share of positive and negative feedback/outlook towards this but to be in a position of a more neutral opinion i'd say it has its own fair and share of bad and good, i feel as tho the game doesnt make the hunters struggle enough compared to world where as a new player it was a complete ass beating especially going into the later stage like Iceborn, but it is also a way to welcome and open doors for newcomers to adapt before the game finally releases the big DLC update that hopefully will give what the players, veterans, and even newcomers to the title are finally "ready" for.

Does it deserve the current mixed steam review?

Yes and no, i think the mixed review shouldnt be viewed as to portray the game isnt deserving of a good review, which the game definitely does. It is to show an honest truth of what the game's current condition of performance is having and sure enough it'll change for the better once the game is ready for it after further patches regarding performance and more content updates. im even currently running the game on the absolute bare minimum on 1660 TI with several mods to improve performance to get 30-60 FPS stable on medium and having quite a blast.
u're better off relying on steam reviews as bad as it is to get an idea of the current condition of the game OR the quality of the game itself rather than game reviewers that gave this game a lower point than dragon age veilguard and 1 point away from concord.
