Edit from a previous 400 hour review.

1,800 hours later and the game is still addicting as hell. I've gotten a new PC with some beefy components compared to the laptop I used when first making this review, and with a steam library of 50+ Games, I'm still coming back to this one. It's a blessing and a Curse.

The game is practically a masterpiece. It's well polished and the base game is enjoyable on it's one, but the one thing that just improves this game astronomically is the workshop. Want a new campaign to play? Download a custom. Want the game to look more modern? There's plenty of HD Rework mods that improve the game greatly with visuals. Want to give Zoey the most ABSOLUTELY MOST MASSIVE HONKER BONKER HANNAMONHONNAGAHOOGS? Well first off, what the ♥♥♥♥ is wrong with you, and second, there's plenty on the workshop.

The gameplay and gunplay is still satisfying, the campaigns are all unique and linear but still enjoyable even after so many playthroughs, but my favorite aspect is the characters.

You will never find a more likeable and unique cast like the crew in both L4D1 and L4D2. Their backstories are relateable, their personalities aren't cringey like most modern games *cough Back 4 Blood *cough* and each character's dialogue options are just endless. So download a vocalizer and make something funny happen.

Well, WTF are you waiting for? Buy this game! Grab some Friends! And shoot some stuff up, or stand in a saferoom for 2 hours screaming at eachother with a vocalizer. You will never find a similar experience then with this unique Gem that was manufactured during the Great Depression.
