Best game I've played this year.

Well, apart from the forced tutorial segment being half broken english, and half earshattering alarm popups informing you that when you see air units, you should make anti-air, the game seemed nice enough. Except for the part where it said it lost connection, and then froze. And the 101 "You don't have internet" error I am presented trying to launch the game. Not sure I'm willing to invest time into trying to get to the actual game if I have to slog through a tutorial repeatedly hoping I don't DC.

Everything about the game is good, except that there is only an hours worth of content currently. (Enjoyable though it is.)

I was expecting an arcade mode type feature, and was excited to finally get to it and have challenges incorporating all of the gameplay elements; and then I get the 'congrats you won' titlecard. Whoop. Not even sure if I would recommend this. /shrug

For anyone stumbling across this review, 30,000,000 years after this game found it's final resting place deep in the bowels of the steam store; shell out your $5 to get this game. It is one of those little gems which has all the luster and charm you could possibly hope for. Adorable character, fun and interesting game mechanics, charming story and enviornments. And zero hope of the IP getting the continuation it was hoping for.

Five hour entry to barrier to getting into the game proper. Seems legit.

Game looks promising, if what you are looking for is a hearthstone clone with even steeper rates for cardpacks.

Got friends to play.
Dressed up as a 1980's'ish nerd archetype detective/tech.
Set up a 'situation room' (Someone's bedroom), a bomb room (A much grimier, dingier bedroom), and set up a radio system.
Had five people squabbling drunkenly at the bomb tech over mic.
Managed to kill every single person involved at least once.
Splattered blood all over the walls of the bomb room.
11/10 would durka durka jihad again.

I struggled. I made decisions that made me feel bad. I managed to do a little good here, and there. I cried. 10/10 Game, 0/10 war.
