Edit: So they added a new map, fixed the FOV issues I was having, and added trading cards. These are all great additions, and show the devs are working hard to make this game better. Just today they added full controller rebinding which is great. The new map they added was as good as the rest of the base maps, and the trading cards are nice. Since they fixed the FOV issues I was having, I played a bit of Survival mode, and it was actually really fun. I like this game a lot, but I just can't recommend it at full price. If it's on sale, or you've got a lot of money, and don't care about price, then you'll get a fun 3 hour afternoon out of this game. However if you've got $10 to spend on a retro FPS game, buy Prodeus, it has workshop support, and you'll definitely get your moneys worth out of that.

I'll keep an eye on this game, and edit my review from time to time. I hope one day they'll add enough new levels, or workshop support, and I'll feel this game is worth a recommendation. Until then, I'd say it's a decent game, but there's better games out there to play at this same price range. These devs seem cool though, so if you wanna support them, then give it a buy, but just don't expect to get a lot of playtime out of this game.

Original Review: 6 maps? I beat this game in 2 hours, It was a really fun 2 hours, but £10 for a 2 hour game? It wants to be an "old school FPS" but just ends up feeling like a shareware game, I feel like I just played the first episode, where is the rest of the content!? It stopped just when it started to get really fun! I've been looking forward to this for like 2 years, and I beat it in 2 hours. Disappointing to say the least.

There are some annoying bugs too, FOV kept resetting every time I died, or loaded a level, and didn't change AT ALL in Survival mode. That made Survival mode unplayable for me, the FOV was locked at 65, it's so low, it makes me feel physically sick. Some MASSIVE frame drops, in a game that really isn't that graphically intensive. The time resets if you load a save, so you could save just before the end of a level, load the save, and the game would think you beat the level in under 1 second. A good exploit, except there is no achievements so who cares? Also, no achievements, no trading cards, no workshop support, really? Very underwhelming.

There are 4 guns, 6 maps, and 1 boss. Love the standard rifle, let's you shoot really fast, triple shotgun is awesome, very punchy, the minigun feels OP, and the rocket launcher is also there. Movement is fun, bunny hopping feels great. Maps are good, loads of secrets, don't think I found any that actually technically were 'secrets' but that might be the game bugging, because I died after finding them. Some moments felt like old school Doom, one segment reminded me of the ending of Serious Sam: TSE, it gets the feel of the retro fps right. The maps are good but some are way too short, there just aren't enough of them. Enemies are good, the main soldiers are fun to kill, the big monsters from the first live action Scooby-Doo Movie are great. I really disliked the melee enemy, it chases you, and can kill you in 1-2 hits (on hard mode), and is just kind of annoying to deal with. It has the same sound effects as Scooby-Doo Movie monster. It makes it hard to tell if the 'one hit kill' monster is nearby, or just a standard Scooby-Doo monster. Also the final boss was meh, and his strongest attack was to lower my frame rate to sub 30.
Edit: Oh also the OST is great, fast paced metal tracks, exactly what you want from an old school FPS.

I think I'm eligible for a refund, and I'm considering it. I got 2 weeks to decide. If the devs fix the bugs, add achievements, trading cards, and/or workshop support, then maybe I'll keep it. The 2 hours I spent with this game were fun, but I just can't justify the price. If you can pick this game up for £5 in sale, then go for it, but 2 hours is too short, and I took my time with it. This game DESPERATELY needs a level editor, the mechanics, the guns, the enemies are all good, just not enough to play. I would have been satisfied with 12 maps maybe.

Hopefully the devs add to this, and I can take this review down. I really don't want to be negative.

Takes me less than 30 minutes to eat a footlong sub with chips and a drink for $10. That's how I started looking at games these days $ wise. Thanks for the review
