I have almost 2,380 hours playing this game as of posting this review!
I highly recommend this game! (I updated hours played and still love the game!)

I feel like KSH (Keen Software House [Developers]) have made tremendous progress since first launch into early access and have been listening to their community better then 99% of other early access titles and have updated tons!

Now as to why I recommend this game.

If you love giant building creative sandbox games with a survival component this is for you. I feel this game gives people a creative outlet. I've built massive space stations, ships, planetary bases, and more, all to my liking, EXACTLY how I want it built. Not just gathering materials and ploping down a pre-shaped dome or building or what not. Whats more, if you feel that something is missing from the game you can EASILY just suscribe to any of thousands of mods made and maintained by the SE community to add to your creations. KSH also added planets and moons later on (By community request), that you can literally travel between in a non-linear method (i.e. its not like a wormhole or point to point between, it's free travel). There isn't any automatic landing crap unless you made your creation to do so. ITS ALL YOUR MAKING!

Get together with some friends and make the biggest baddest creations that can only come from your mind.

Now for some negatives.
It isn't that they haven't tried optimizing it but I can see how some computers would have trouble running this game. Too many calculations and\or too many objects creating calculations in the world can cause processing latency. BUT it does take a lot of objects in the world to do so. I would not recommend playing with more than 16 players to a server. You may still encounter some bugs that may rip your creation to shreds (LOL), but it's mostly limited to moving creations such as ships. No, there is no "endgame" but in my opinion I don't feel a need for one. It's about creativity.

To address all the people crying about crashes...
All systems are different, all reasons for crashing are different, YES, even with an identical system.
How is this possible you ask? ALL of the components in your system have minor imperfections that are not obvious and are not visible to the naked eye. even from a near identical component. In the last 100+ hours i've personally come across only one non-crash exception, ONE!

YES, it is part programming, YES, it is part hardware.
