It's good I swear

Constant crashes and server disconnects, but really cool when it works, in this state I can't recommend.

Official Servers crash constantly and revert 5 to 10 minutes every 40 minutes or longer. Not to mention it could take another 10 minutes or longer to get back into the server as every other player is spamming the join button.

About to dawn my own mask and book a flight.........Nah but fr this crap is insane, day 3 and I still can't play the game. I have 3.3 hours racked up and in those 3.3 hours I have only played one match, and even then it didn't run well.

Destroy the city Avengers style while trying to save the city from giant bugs.

Not gonna lie I never played the first one because it always kind of looked like the typical unpolished unity survival game to me, but no joke this goes pretty hard. It looks and runs amazing, has pretty good building, and the animations for hitting things feel pretty good. I think after some updates to the story and maybe more crazy stuff to find (locations, items, etc.); it will be epic.

(edit: it also has pretty good controller support when using an xbox one controller.)

I'd wait no joke and just play KSP1. Too often things explode for no reason, frames drops to 15 or 20 (playing on a 3070, Ryzen 7, 32 GB RAM, and an SSD.) It is nowhere near optimized, camera decides to go completely jank at random causing loss of control of the craft (since you can no longer see it), etc. This is a case where early access means EARLY access, it seriously may take years to get to the level of polish KSP1 is at. If you don't have KSP1 and were waiting to just buy KSP2, just go ahead and buy the first one and save the money until this is at a more consumer friendly level of quality. I will change my review when I think it's nearing or meeting the same level of quality as the first one.

On a positive note, pretty much everything regarding the sound is pretty good. Music changes depending on what is happening, rockets sound like rockets. So if the sound people ever see this, you went crazy on this. I also like the way they are going with the UI personally. I think if they could just make it a little easier on the eyes but somehow keep that early digital aesthetic it will be cool.

Lots of leaps in the right direction, at the severe cost of polish. Compared to 1, this is incredibly jank feeling at times. Whatever update added the 2k launcher has broken so many things/seemed to cause so much odd jank to happen more often.

As long as you go into it knowing you may get soft locked and need to revert to previous saves, then it shouldn't be too bad. Always keep back up saves, I would save like every 20 minutes no joke. Ironman is probably impossible to do now with the amount of hangs and softlocks that seem to happen now.

Was loving it, was about to post a positive review, but the patch today causes my game to constantly "tab out" every few minutes, I will be playing and it tabs into my desktop every couple of minutes, it was not doing this before the patch today. It may be on my side but it has never happened before, fr this is making me mad lol.

No joke so much variety in how you can play. Crazy abilities and items all throughout the game. It could seem like it is boring at a glance, just because of the artstyle (I personally love how this game looks) and the reading you have to do throughout the game, but I am telling you it's not like that at all once you start playing! It starts getting pretty tense when you risk losing your character that you have been using for a few hours with crazy loot. (there is a mode that allows you to save and load though if you don't want to play permadeath, but you should definitely try it out, as it feels like the game is kind of made with permadeath in mind.)

The daily and weekly challenge modes are a nice touch in a game like this, allowing you to try and get to the top of the leader board for the day/week using a preset character.

WARNING VR IS JANK RIGHT NOW!

VR would be amazing IF it didn't feel a little jank. Also there are some things with the VR that make no sense. (switching equipment for example has to be done in a menu instead of just pressing a button while looking at your pocket) Jank VR out of the way, it's more Hitman, which is sick.
