A fantastic video game all around that I have spent many, many hours enjoying. However, the game abruptly ends before the story can conclude, leaving the player feeling empty inside. The gameplay, graphics, sound design, and overall structure are all ingenious and entertaining no matter how many times you come back, but be warned a few creases remain that weren't quite ironed out. Two noticible issues are the amount of downtime you'll experience heading in and out of the field via helicopter (though you're intended to listen to audio tapes during these long segments) and audio cutting off entirely when the camera isn't facing a character who's currently speaking (meaning you can miss entire lines unless you have subtitles turned on).

I highly recommend this game, but be warned that it's going to leave you longing for an ending that's never going to come, because Konami pooped their pants over the game's development.
