If you can get it working, it's not a bad game, it's just not a good F.E.A.R game. I love that the game delves more into the psychological aspect of horror, but there are some massive downsides and reasons I couldnt recommend the game. The cons are more important so they're first

CONS:
You cant bind keys to mouse side buttons
The game feels like it was made exclusively for console, and then just ported over to PC last second.
By default, mouse sensitivity is busted. Downloading a mod to fix that requires capping your FPS to 60 otherwise it's even worse
The QTEs take a lot of suspense out of the game because as long as you can complete a QTE you wont die
Sometimes entire rooms just dont load in and you have to restart your entire game
can't tab out otherwise the game crashes, forced fullscreen exclusive

Pros:
Graphically very impressive
Nice psychological horror
It takes a very long time but once you've finished it, you realise it was a pretty good game
Answers some questions about the predecessors, even if it does remove a couple from canon
