I bought this game on sale after the 0.33 patch.
I did find some reddit posts suggesting that the newest update bricked the performance on some systems. This might or might not be true, I can't confirm it either way, but the performance of the game is atrocious and very inconsistent which should not be the case on my hardware. Sometimes I get 80fps, sometimes I get 8fps.

RTX 3070, ryzen 5 3600, 48gb 3200mhz ram, installed on NVME.

The game is very fun if it works, but currently at least on my system it does not so I can't recommend it. Might as well stick to AC and Richard Burns Rally, etc while this game is broken.

Edit: We are now on patch 0.35. The devs responded to my review and I did indeed try to solve the issue with them. Nothing they suggested worked, including the classics such as reinstalling the graphics drivers, clearing the game cache, removing all mods even though they were deactivated already, trying directx und vulkan, checking the file integrity through steam and of course reinstalling the game completely. The game still runs like poo, which is unfortunate, since it is still the only game causing issues on my system.
Example: 44fps on average on the USA freeroam map in the default spawn in the city if I do not move. The performance gets worse once you start driving around of course.
