Incredibly cute little time-management/raising sim game featuring an adorable robot girl! From the moment you get to name her in the beginning, the robot girl immeidately begins to grow on you until you're eager to make her as powerful as she can be and reach the top!
It feels very VN-like, with a lot of your time spent reading interactions between your soon-to-be champion and the decently big variety of characters around the city, as this is how you acquire new locations to scout and often times new equipment as well. There are a lot of variant weapons, body part replacements, extra features, and hairstyles to choose from, and upgrades for most.
That equipment is used in the game's turn based battles, which while I'm sure are nothing groundbreaking, but are presented in a really enjoyable format. My setup was based around the combo chip, which gave a growing multiplier to every next attack as long as an attack wasn't repeated. I'm sure this is far from the only build, however, as a lot of the chips I found seemed to allow for a few different builds.
As a note, I played on the Normal difficulty on my first (and currently only) run, but the game lets you adjust that slightly as you get to replay any battles you lose, whether from the start or from the last turn. It's also possible to take losses when you get them, which will change things heavily I imagine. There is an issue of the mid-to-late game getting to be a bit easy once you get overpowered, but there are some battles that still need to be finessed even then. And besides, a harder game if desired is only a loadout change away!
Even being overpowered and combat being relatively riskless till the late game, it was fun to go through the motions of the combat itself to see how everything ticked and how high I could get a single attack to go. This did make the game rather easy, but I easily could have remedied that by using different equipment, which did feel like it would have been a viable (if just harder) situation.
There's also a really fun implimentation of the talk system, where by talking with your opponents before beating them you can get info on upcoming enemies, new plotlines, items, or even accidentially give them status boosts. Given the ability to retry it doesn't feel like a risk to see what pops out, and even if it's a negative it's usually worth the retry. The writing does have some small translation typos, but it's always enjoyable, even in these little pocket conversations. I love the art style here too, it's very much a basic anime style but it works, and when the game starts adding in rougher plot elements, it doesn't feel out of place either (though as I did a positive karma run, I don't know if the negative karma run may be a bit more jarring).
All in all, though, it's actually very solid. If you're someone who likes to replay games, or if you enjoy games like Long Live The Queen, then this has enough in it to justify the price tag. If you're a one run and done, you may want to wait for a sale as it's roughly a 4-5 hour game for your first run, but there's a lot to unlock and many endings to discover (That can be unlocked simultaniously, so it's not one run per ending) that give it some nice replayability.
tl;dr: Look at that adorable robot girl on the cover art and tell me she doesn't look like she deserves to achieve her dream! You can't! Now go help her make it happen!

As much as this has become "Castlevania", this is the most SOTN 2 any game has ever been or may ever be. Completely marvelous, and I couldn't stop playing until I got nearly everything I could and finished the true fight.

It's not Cave Story but it's still one that you'll want to keep playing until you've beaten it good!

What's better than porn?
Porn where you can listen to the Hotline Miami 2 Soundtrack and not have it feel out of place.
Jerk off to this game!

It's like Interstate Love Song but with a good ending.
And good middle, and good beginning.
Also the final sex scene may be the most i've smiled during one.

Come for the waifu bartending, stay for the r ediculously good characterization and world building.

Who knew a psuedo-loli hooker robot could be such a relaxing and refreshing character?
