So these productivity games never help me, i even bought this one with the intent just to see the cool art and world and have fun collecting stuff rather than using it for its intended purpose, but to my surprise it was so well designed in its UX i immediately found it helpful, i got tasks done that i would of never got done in the last 2 days that i bought it (this is my third day) for once i have a day where i have no tasks other than basic self care which has also helped in keeping myself accountable for my wellbeing

so obviously the music is really nice, the art and animation beautiful, the world interesting and the light game mechanics fun but the use experience is so nice, the features function so cleanly, it allows you to journal your day, your week, your habits and write down your notes for upcoming appointments and events or whatever, but it DOES NOT get in your way at all, it doesnt slow down my computer like other productivity games and it's so easy to just minimise or move around so that it doesn't feel clunky, heavy or annoying to work around this was essential for it having the impact on me that it did

the one request i would make from the dev is offering settings to adjust what gives xp, because i idle with the game on so that my tasks are always in my view im gaining idle xp that i dont really want because i feel like i am cheating myself out of the progression in that regard (this ultimately does not matter in the grand scheme because i will continue to use the game despite this) and same goes with the timer, i didnt use the timer function to work for 20 minutes but as a tool to be like in 20 minutes go do the dishes, so when it finished counting i got a bunch of xp before doing my task, it would be nice to have an advanced setting to disable these xp gains so i dont feel like im cheating my self

TLDR this is a productvity game that works for me where all else have failed and thats in large part to do with how easy it is to use and how little it gets in your way

I have not had a lot of free time to play this game but i will say i was impressed with what i did play and i want to support this game in anyway i can, I believe in what they are trying to achieve, it is a niche game that i have wanted for a long time, and i want to do better by leaving reviews for games to support those devs beyond just financial means
