Farming Simulator 25 is a massive disappointment at launch. Let me break down why:

1) Low Base Game Equipment
The base game comes with embarrassingly few equipment options, especially for a title that claims to improve with every release. It feels like a slap in the face to the modding community and the players. Mods are the lifeblood of this franchise, and Giants knows it. Without mods, every FS games would be dead in the ditch after a few months. And yet, mod list has been taken down, and mod releases are painfully slow. It’s frustrating, to say the least.

2) Missing Farming Essentials
No corn stalk baling? No corn dryers? No crop dryers at all? This is basic farming 101, and it’s still nowhere to be seen (until modders will introduce it!). How does a farming simulator miss these fundamental features? It's baffling.

3) No Precision Farming
Precision farming is still absent, likely because Giants will lock it behind a pay-to-play DLC. Why can't this series work like ETS2, where the base game remains intact and DLCs add to the experience? Instead, they churn out a new game every two years with less content than the previous version. Is it pure greed? Or just a complete lack of understanding of what players actually want?

I’ve switched back to FS22 for at least another year, where thanks to modders (not Giants!), I can actually enjoy the game. Maybe by then FS25 will have enough content to feel like a finished product.

My advice? Do yourself a favour and buy FS22 instead. It’s cheaper, has better mods, and is far more enjoyable. Giants really dropped the ball this time.

Point number 2 wasn't in any versions prior until a modder added it to a map or a script came out. Yeah it sucks that they still haven't made it a base game thing but at the same time still not a deal breaker JS

For point number 3 Precision Farming wasn't behind a Pay Wall in 19 or 22 it came out as a Mod from Giants about 5 months after release of 22 and it was almost a year after 19 had been released. So yeah can't see why there is a problem with that.

I would Have said something about point number one but someone else already beat me to it lol. Out of 22 I wish they had added more of the DLC stuff from 22 base game so we would have more of those items in. At the same time they'll probably do what they did for 22 and add them into an update as free DLC later just like they did for 22.

As for your point 1:
Searching for comparisons from 22 release to 25 release and I found this:

FS 25 has 7 more vehicles and 2 more tools than FS22.
25 has 10 fewer tractors at launch but has more different types of vehicles than 22.
FS 25 has 137 vehicles and 400 tools at launch, FS 22 had 130 Vehicles and 398 tools.

The breakdown on the difference (at launch) between the two is in this post
