This might be my favourite game ever, that includes Disney's Cannibal Mouse game, which I have 320 hours on, mostly of eating Minnie... Anyway, if you don't mind losing a bit with me in the Europe region give me a shout.

Post-processing and limited fov takes me to the very border of a headache. The very margin of migraine. Not to mention... let's not mention THAT. (THAT = watching 3x* as much storyline progression as you get to take part in almost-half-decent action. THAT is not officially mentioned because it lays within the brackets, parentheses that are the thin line between officialdom and skippability.) *it may not be exactly 3x, but I measured with a stopwatch through the game to the nearest trammasecond, a minute element of time that, when toyed with, opens up the gates of time. But NERDS only enjoy the concept of time travel, it died with Back to the Future 3 and should never be used again, in the future that is. Noone said anything about putting more time travel fiction into the past. That is an open option. So yeah, the post processing gave me a headache.

Trying to move around with any precision is painful. Pressing left or right should drain your health bar. It's that painful. And the translation is terrible, what a hatchet job to an already balls Japanese script. Bad balls. There are good balls out there.

I thought this would be a 5-minutes-I'm-bored title, turned out to be a 10-hours-I'm-a-happy-dung-beetle-tooting-my-party-streamer-with-dungy-abandon. My only gripe is after completing the main quest, when exploring the map for its various secrets, getting around can be a hassle. But those are the breaks of having to lug a ball of poo 5 times your size. It affects mobility. It's the character's own insistence to do so. If you aren't prepared to delve into the mind of a dung beetle and really explore the psychology and have true kinship with your dungball around a campfire, then you won't truly know the benefits of life as the truly majestic dung beetle, latin name Dungus Beetelus.

This is an excellent set of 3 games. It's not manic platforming, it's much more exploration of small levels trying to figure out where all of the gems are. There are plenty of mini-games in the 2nd title on top of the gem hunting from the original which expands it into welcome territory to keep things fresh. The 3rd game introduces more characters to control and new types of mini-games which aren't super but again inject just enough of a new experience for me to 100% all three of the games with only one glance at a guide when I was young and naive and didn't know how the supercharge worked.

I recommend it for its exploration and simple puzzle solving over incredibly mastered graphics: plush landscapes, spritely character movement... I mean just watch Spyro's thicc thighs pulsate with energy as he sprints. Trust me, you won't get it out of your head. The remastered female characters are going to have a hard time staying out of rule 34 of the internet. Elora and Bianca, I pray for you.

Exquisite shooter: starts out in dungeons and gets more open and ostentatious in its levels leading up to assaults on giant haunted mansions and temples of nature. It starts off well and just gets better and better. Apart from the boss fights: they're not bad, they're actually okay and do break up the exploration and minion-hammering well enough but they're not exquisite but they'll do in a more than passable way.
Crank it up to Hard level for a fun ride, Normal mode is a kerb-stomp on the monsters and that's coming from me, the worst gamer (it's true, I die on all tutorials). Also, use the overdrive often, I didn't use it enough but it's really satisfying to elevate your weapons to levels of destruction that the US-military-with-its-proliferate-bases-dotted-around-the-world-to-increase-its-horrific-hegemony levels would 'gasm over.
I was ready to not get into 'boomer shooters' after trying the first few boring levels of Hedon but fortunately found this title before jumping into another genre. Go for it, trust me.

If you're looking at your games library and making raspberry noises with your lips, please try this for something different. It's a photo-take-athon and the adjustments you can make to your photos are pretty cool, although I'm not into social media so I bet the options pale in comparison to image filters on whatever social media platform you're desperately trying to get noticed on. However, for ignorant sods like me, if you feel like you have a vague creative streak but haven't really had the time to go down that path, I recommend this to dip your toes into some crazy photo taking opportunities. Choose the lens, tilt the camera, choose some egregious or muted colour settings, the game saves them for you in a folder and then, like me, set them as your desktop background if you can navigate Windows 10 settings better than I...

Umurangi Generation has a very interesting setting, and the anti-UN sentiment, as a failing to a fictional world catastrophe, or as a statement from the game producers, is pretty cool. Oh yeah, NATO can suck deez cashew nuts too. That one's from me.
