It's hard to describe this game. It's not a good game, not at all, but it fits in that very specific category of games that finds its charm on being bad. The story is good, not amazing or surprising, but good. The graphics look like a 2009 game. The mechanics are simple, it's pretty much a click and walk. But well... somehow all of this still makes the game worth playing, and therefore I would give it a positive review if they didn't mess up so hard in the endings.

The endings are terrible, and I don't mean in a "Lovecraft unhappy ending" terrible, but in a "why the ♥♥♥♥ did I waste my time for this?" terrible. You don't even get to really enjoy the consequences of your acts, you don't get good final cinematics, just some really short cutscenes that are just... bad. After you finish the game, you have the impression of wasted time, not satisfaction, a problem that could be avoided if they just opened a little bit more their creativity in the final moments of the game, dared more, even showing us 10 seconds more of Cthullhu instead of a 2 seconds glance would be enough.

An average journey, a bad destination. I give it a 6/10.

AC: Origins was a pleasant surprise. It was the first AC that I've played in the new RPG style, and to be honest, I didn't really like it in my first contact, dropping it for months before giving it a try. This time, when I actually played it, I was surprised by how great it was. The entire world is really beautiful, characters well constructed and you have amazing historical figures, like Julius Caesar and Cleopatra. I didn't like however, the protagonist that took Desmond's place. She's not charismatic at all, and everytime I had to play her I just rushed the missions outside the Animus.

A simple game, but in a good way. Really enjoyable, except for the TAB freezing that was never fixed because Airtight closed the doors. Worth the money (if you get it at discount)

I've played all Metro games, and I can say without any doubt: Metro Exodus is the sole masterpiece of the franchise.

- Starting by the visuals, it is absolutely stunning, with lots of diverse environments (something I've missed in the original series, but that's not a con, considering it made sense with the previous plots).
- It has the BEST character development of all the games. All the characters from Metro Exodus feels like family, you grow attached to them. Their stories, personalities, backgrounds, everything was better constructed in Metro Exodus.
- I've played the original game and both the DLCs, and all the endings are beautiful, it's almost ridiculous. I'm a grown man and for the first time in ages I've shed a tear in the end of "The Two Colonels" DLC.
- Lots of side dialogues between NPCs. Really. Lots. If you try to listen it all, the game will get tiresome, too much information. Listen to some, pass anothers, play it in your own time, and in a future playthrough, listen to the others (there's a lot that you will surely miss in the first playthrough)

There's two cons, however, that bothered me during the game:

- Sometimes the game just crashes between levels. It's not a serious problem considering it autosaves frequently, but it can become annoying to reopen the game every time after you finish a level. And for some reason, if you have NVidia instant record enabled, it will ALWAYS crash between levels, so you gotta play with it disabled, or only enable it after the level already started.
- Some FPS drops in places that makes no sense to have it. In the big cities I've managed to get used to these drops, it made sense considering the amount of details in-screen, but there was also some stutterings in closed places with not really much happening. A little bit unoptimized in that aspect, but it's nothing so serious that it will make your game unplayable, as long as you have a decent setup (medium tier+)

There's games that make good stories but can't provide good endings.

Metro: Last Light has an amazing story, and two great endings, and the cannon ending feels even more satisfying.

Masterpiece.

Don't bother, once again, greedy companies ruined an once great franchise. Loot boxes in a game like emergency doesn't make any sense. There's "special coins" aka money grabbers for you and idiotic "daily missions" to bait you into getting "free boxes" thus stimulating this stupidity. It's basically some kind of washed up mobile game, not an EMERGENCY.

Another problem: they inserted time before getting quests so it will force you a false sense of "urgency" to play the game. With urgency comes bad decisions, including paying to level up faster. Typical money grabbing strategy from greedy companies.

If you're a EMERGENCY fan, STAY AWAY from this trash. Don't give them money, don't pay for these loot boxes. While you do it, you're helping to finance corporate greed in games, which are coming more and more unfinished and incomplete.
