Honestly I cannot reccomend playing this game right now if you are a new player. Bots are rampant with installed aimbot to ruin the fun. Before they were easily able to be distinguished from the actual players but now it's difficult because they don't speak nor do they have any common names. The TF2 devs have been silent about this for the most part. I understand that they don't have a lot of people working on the game anymore and the people that are working on it definitely listen to the players, I just wished they would tell us they know what's going on. I know they can't tell us exactly what they will do to fix the problem since the creators of the bots will add programs to get around it but a simple "We know what's going on and we are trying to fix it" would be nice. It really didn't help when they added an anti-cheat program to CSGO. It's nice and all but CSGO doesn't have the problem with the bots, TF2 does. So why is there an anti-cheat program in CSGO when the bots aren't invading that game? I really do love this game, I have played it for 8 years now so please fix this problem so it doesn't ruin the experience for new players so we can keep this game alive for much longer!

EDIT: Valve has said they are trying to mitigate the amount of new accounts used for malicious purposes. When the fix comes in I will change the review, I promise. So far we got a very small fix with the new players not being able to use chat function and all players automatically voting yes to kick if the bot leaves during vote so they can't get back into the match. This isn't the TF2 devs fault, this just happened because a salty VNN employee leaked some old code and everyone became super paranoid and some people took advantage of that. I truly believe the TF2 dev team will fix this and I am so happy they are passionate working on a 13 year old game. Just right now, if you are a new player planning on trying this game for the first time. Now wouldn't be a good time.
