Early Access Review
At this point I'd be foolish to not recommend the game, after having put 60 hours into it.

The Single Player mode is fantastic, but at this point in development, Bannerlord comes with glaring flaws on the Multiplayer side of the launcher.

The long wait times (20m+) to find open lobbies need to be addressed, and I'm sure it's not due to user volume. I find it hard to believe there aren't 120 people looking for a Siege game given the popularity of other games like Mordhau, and with the concurrent player numbers of Bannerlord. As of the writing of this review, there are nearly 100k people playing the game with a daily peak of 103k, so the numbers for multiplayer are there. This issue seems to have gotten worse as patches have been released, and at this point my hope of a quick solution is waning.

With that out of the way, the game is fun. The melee hit detection is solid and it will never get old throwing a javelin into someone's chest, especially when on horseback.

The overworld is engaging. The factions are interesting, and are obviously meant to represent the cultures that exist within the simulation we inhibit. You can find English knights, Nordic vikings, Persian bowmen, Mongolian mounted archers, etc..

As a work in progress, it's in a very nice place, and I can see this game turning into a classic.

It's been a month since I beat my first playthrough of this game and it's still in my brain.

One of the best soundtracks I've heard in gaming, which evokes strange and powerful moods and emotions.

One of the best skill systems in gaming, which influences how you play and the type of cop you will become.

Highly recommended for fans of story-based RPGs, and old school point-and-click adventure games.

This game is magical. It lets you do things other games don't let you do, like cannibalize your friends.

Mods make this game better.

This game will last you forever, and you may not need other games after getting this game.

What Diablo 3 should've been. Lots of depth, and the greatest skill tree of all time.

As a soda aficianado, I was enthralled to realize that I could drink sodas in space.

The zero g bubbling has affected my ability to digest.

Please send help.

10/10 would get diabetes again.

This game is excellent. It's what I wish Diablo 3 was... more polished than PoE as well. I can see myself playing this one for a good long while.
