The challenges of trucking at its finest! I still wish trucks could plow through the stumps and small twigs they get hung up on in the mud and off the road, but upgrades go a long way to uninterrupted transport. Mod support is truly the cherry on top as well and opens up worlds of possibilities.

Reminiscent of Myst, but with some more modern twists, I thoroughly enjoyed Quern; despite it being incredibly frustrating at times :P

Without spoiling anything, this game tends to use puzzles that can involve parts from opposite ends of the map, very unlike other puzzle titles like The Room, The House of Davinci, or even titles like The Room VR, where you may traverse the same area multiple times, but won't rely on items from previous rooms.

Some of the puzzles are certainly a good head-scratcher, at times requiring a break from the game to come to the realization of what to do next. I played through it twice to dig out the secrets along the way; one was right in my face, the other two were trickier.

It's well worth a replay, in my opinion, although there's nothing quite like the first run through.

I cannot recommend Ghost Ship Games' work enough; they respond rapidly to bugs, provide open communication with their community, and continue to support this game incredibly actively.

Always happy to support a studio doing things the right way these days.

A great adventure with reasonable replay-ability. I've played through the story several times as the updates came out and, in the games latest state, it's more featured that it's ever been.

My only wish list for the developers would be to improve the logic for detecting when the character is or isn't above the water, and ensuring the Shark cannot clip through terrain or sail through the sky xD

The crown jewel of modern mini golf games that feature amusing methods to mess with your friends, who soon won't be your friends after a few rounds of hilarity :P

Workshop support also adds incredible replayability to the game, and it's well worth it IMO even at full price. However, the game can also be had for quite discounted cost fairly often, so if time isn't an issue there are sales to be had.

A short but enjoyable game, despite the fact I had no clue what I was doing the entire time xD

A good sequel to The Room, The Room Two was an enjoyable experience to play. The original took place around one puzzle per level, while The Room Two has a larger room with a few small sections to each one. I prefered the style of the first game, but this one plays quite well. If you want to follow the story definitely play through the first one, but the game is certainly playable without background knowledge.

The graphical improvements over the mobile versions are quite beautiful. The shadows are done well, and are used quite nicely in-game to draw or detract focus to/from various areas. For a game built in the Unity engine it is fantastic looking.

The game does rely heavily on observation; if something looks different from others, it's likely important. This was probably my biggest gripe with the game, was that in some cases it wasn't very intuitive as to what to do next. Most of the time you have an idea of what you need to open, but you don't have the requried item at the moment. The hint system is there for these situations, but any time I used it I felt the resulting piece I needed to find etc wasn't particularly well placed. In particular there is a jar at one point with a particular importance to it, while it only looks slightly different from the others... While I feel this is an area the game could improve, I did still quite enjoy the time I spent playing it.

Overall this game is an enjoyable puzzler with good graphics and gameplay, and quite a good price point. This is easily one of the only games on Steam that I paid full price for. I eagerly await the arrival of The Room Three, although as it was just recently released on mobile it will likely be a while.

Fantastic puzzler, very atmospheric. I don't usually play puzzle games, as I often get stuck and frustrated with them, especially if they rely on timing etc. The Room is a nice calm experience which is pleasantly distant from this rushing around. It allows you to explore, look around, and take your time. The visuals in the game are excellent, and tie very well with the soundtrack. The game is fairly short, I completed my first run in 2.4 hrs, but overall very enjoyable. This is honestly one of the few games on steam I would definitely be plenty willing to pay full price for. This is a remake of the mobile game of the same name, and it is an exquisite example fo how to move platforms while improving your game. I am hopeful that they will remake the sequel, The Room Two, for PC as well.
