While it was fun to wheel about for a little bit on the free weekend, I cannot say I'm a fan of the execution overall. The whole design of the game is very rigid and each expedition is narrowly focused on solely its objective. In some of the later expeditions going to quickly pick up an airdrop, for example, can prevent you completing all the bonus objective thereby penalizing the player. To avoid this you would have to complete the expedition and then re-deploy into free roam to grab the airdrop contents. I consistently felt like the game was railroading me into objectives and preventing exploring the map at will.

Additionally, the pre-expedition loadout configuration is complex and can be costly if you need to re-deploy. It frequently 'requires' items that I never had need of during that expedition which then sell for half their purchase price on completion of the expedition, bleeding the player of money for no reason.

I do love the tire pressure system and I hope it will return in future titles which appeal to me more. Or perhaps someday it will be added into Snowrunnner...? Now that would be a wonderful update to my favourite of your titles!

Incredibly promising so far! The demo showcases a variety of contracts, but I spent the majority of my time playing filling in ditches and making roads wherever I felt like going. Scout vehicles still feel a touch floaty, but thankfully you don't spend most of your time in them.

While I wasn't a fan of Expeditions, as it felt incredibly restrictive, Roadcraft appears to take at least some of the restriction away. There is no complex pre-configuration for a given mission, good riddance, and I dearly hope this isn't going to return in the full version.

I have only encountered a couple bugs so far, one with the NPC convoy driving behaviour and another with sand and a tree trunk:
- Had a log, which had been buried in a trench with sand, come rocketing out of the ground and launch my truck into the sky. Most amusing, and quite harmless.
- The convoy NPC trucks need some path smoothing or something similar applied. Going around even a large curving arc with finely-placed points they would drive almost in an oscillating pattern leftt/right of the desired path instead of driving point-to-point, seeming to input severe steering responses when driving the route. This caused them to occasionally drive up a cliff, or slam into a wall, when they should just be going in a straight line.

The challenges of trucking at its finest! I still wish trucks could plow through the stumps and small twigs they get hung up on in the mud and off the road, but upgrades go a long way to uninterrupted transport. Mod support is truly the cherry on top as well and opens up worlds of possibilities.

Reminiscent of Myst, but with some more modern twists, I thoroughly enjoyed Quern; despite it being incredibly frustrating at times :P

Without spoiling anything, this game tends to use puzzles that can involve parts from opposite ends of the map, very unlike other puzzle titles like The Room, The House of Davinci, or even titles like The Room VR, where you may traverse the same area multiple times, but won't rely on items from previous rooms.

Some of the puzzles are certainly a good head-scratcher, at times requiring a break from the game to come to the realization of what to do next. I played through it twice to dig out the secrets along the way; one was right in my face, the other two were trickier.

It's well worth a replay, in my opinion, although there's nothing quite like the first run through.

I cannot recommend Ghost Ship Games' work enough; they respond rapidly to bugs, provide open communication with their community, and continue to support this game incredibly actively.

A great adventure with reasonable replay-ability. I've played through the story several times as the updates came out and, in the games latest state, it's more featured that it's ever been.

My only wish list for the developers would be to improve the logic for detecting when the character is or isn't above the water, and ensuring the Shark cannot clip through terrain or sail through the sky xD

The crown jewel of modern mini golf games that feature amusing methods to mess with your friends, who soon won't be your friends after a few rounds of hilarity :P

Workshop support also adds incredible replayability to the game, and it's well worth it IMO even at full price. However, the game can also be had for quite discounted cost fairly often, so if time isn't an issue there are sales to be had.
