I just got banned from a competitive game of CS:GO. Although I've been banned before, most of those bans have been deserved. But in this case, it very much wasn't. Steam, for whatever reason, decided to bug out. It lost connection to the internet, even though my computer still had Wifi. At the time i was using spotify to stream music, and it did not stop working, so I believe it is safe to assume it was a steam issue. Then, my game started bugging out and i couldn't move. I started rubber banding a lot without pushing any buttons, and eventually I disconnected. I attempted a reconnect, but it failed. I tried again numerous times, but eventually decided to quit CS:GO. I made sure my Wifi was working, but steam still didn't connect. I then tried to restart steam, but it wouldn't open. I then resorted to restarting my computer, and it finally worked. But, by the time I got back into the CS:GO menu I had a 7 day ban, completely undeserved. ♥♥♥♥ you, CS:GO.
