I like trains.

There are quite a few features that are advertised in the trailer that are not in the game. You can not customise your shop, there is currently no cleaning aspect. To what I have played so far, it is quite difficult to manage the game, there is no indication from the customers as to what is "too pricey" Even if you are matching the RRP of a product, it's too much, so not sure how to combat that. It basically seems to be stock simulator, the Stockroom being in another building than your shop seems a bit unrealistic. Having to run out the store to gather stock is just strange.
There are a few bugs, like after day 3 or 4 the customers stopped telling me what was missing, so I was never sure what stock to order or what stock was running low.
The graphics seem to be very much like this game was churned out rather quickly, using asset flips etc. I also find the 25c option in the till a bit useless? - There are no Sale markers, and there is a sufficient lack of customisation for things like special offers.
The game gets pretty hard without a till operator. It also gets quite hard when you up your stock options, so having a stock staffer would also be beneficial. - As this is an early access game, I can understand that this maybe a miss, so I will give it it's due. It had me sucked in for a good 5 hours. But it seems to be missing a good chunk of what was advertised.

This game is really fun, played with one other person and it was pure chaos. I really hope that they keep updating it. Because it's a great game to play and I would highly recommend it.

So, Skylines 2 is a bit of a mess. I have played for 54 hours and, even though I have played for a time since release, I kinda regret spending the money for the game when it is in this position. There are a lot of graphical bugs. I have had to set it to the lowest graphics quality on an RTX 3050, just so that I can play the game at a cool 15 FPS. This is at a population of 150k.
Obviously it's now basically unplayable.
I might as well have used the free Xbox version. - I wish I had the opportunity to request for my money back as there is no way that the current benefit of having the golden gate bridge is worth the extra money. - The season pass hasn't started yet, so basically paying more for one thing at the moment.
In my opinion, it needs a lot more work. - There is no reason that this should be this bad.
So, I am sorry, but, right now, I would not recommend this game.

So, I decided to edit this review after another 4 month to tell you that with the updates and the DLC this game is STILL not suitable as a AAA game.
Absolute joke that I still have only received a bridge as part of my £80 payment. (the castle was given away in the end) The Mods work but you have to reload your game a good 3 times before they do and they managed to mess up the balancing to be so that once you get to a decent level in game you will ALWAYS need commercial and they will constantly complain about not having enough population or goods to serve.
Still not recommending this game.
