Beat the game and do it again with mods

I bought this game on the release day back in March of 2020. The game was incredibly buggy and would crash all the time.

Fast forward to 2025 I have over 300 hours in this game and have started over 20 campaigns that I have never finished. The bugs are gone for the most part and the game is just beautiful. There is so much to do in a broad game like this, it's not just controlling armies and taking down castles.

I played Warband a ton and I can confidently say this game is my favorite game of all time. I'd recommend it to all with time on their hands to play a campaign. I find myself coming back to this game and doing a new campaign with or without mods at least two to three times a year.

The game is a 9.5/10 for me, other than the decent pc requirement to play the game on max settings.

The game's better with friends... solo can be fun ig.

So I create my first world and I start naming the characters my friends names and my name also. I tried to match the traits closest to my friends and we got pretty good results. But that's not what I am going to talk about. So one of my colonists was a really good shooter and they had a trait that made then a super good shot but take extra time. I didn't think much, but what I noticed is that they were really inaccurate. I was so confused about this because a lot of the shots he took weren't even hard shots. K, enough of that back to the story.
One day my character, Adam, became unstable because of the heat and I have been rejected so many times and I lose it. I start attacking a rat and some of the other colonists. Matt comes to the rescue and lands 2 really hard consecutive shots. I was complaining because I don't know why he couldn't do that before with a darn beaver.
Matt then rescues me and puts me in a medical bed where I then learn that his shots blew off both of my legs! So I had no legs and that put my character in an uncomfortable situation. Since Matt was also our best doctor I told him to do an operation to put 2 peg legs on me. He puts the first peg leg on with ease but the second one was a whole different situation. While putting in the left peg leg he somehow managed to take out my lung and failed the operation. I just lost it at this point because I was so confused how you took out a lung instead of put a peg leg on! Those are 2 totally different parts of the body. I ignored it.
Fast forward time to like a season later. Some cobras attacked us and Matt came out to save us. I was melee attacking the cobras while Matt was sniping them from far away. Matt missed one of his shots and it hit me. It hit my torso and caused me to pass out.

I quit that world and started another one. We got to have Matt and Adam on the roster again for this world. So Matt became emotionally unstable early on in this world, so I shot him. I guess my character wants revenge on this world.

This game is great though. For an Early Access Game this is like one of the best you can get. I definately recommend it!
