Ignore the people talking about servers. The server capacity is being upped constantly. The first few days were rocky, but the game is 100% playable and fun as heck.

As a Helldivers 1 player, on PS4 and PC, I was worried about the changes. They nailed it. The game plays well, and feels good to play. The movement feels amazing, shooting weapons is great, everything about this game was gone over with a fine toothed comb and polished.

The presentation is out of this world. From stunning vistas to the bridge of your Super Destroyer, it's all beautiful.

I feel like the devs pulled a fast one on Sony, microtransactions exist in the game in the form of super credits. Super credits can be found in mission! Blow open the Blue and Orange container doors buried in the ground, open the big door with two buttons, and find the flashing light pillars. Just today I found over 400 super credits in a few missions.

The Warbonds are kinda like a battle pass, but they will never go away! They are how you unlock new equipment for progression with warbond medals (that you can also find more of in the same locations as super credits!).

Helldivers 1 was a fun couch co-op game. Helldivers 2 is a top tier PvE game. The server issues wont last, ignore the "kernel anticheat is the sign of the devil" people. Hop on, become a Helldiver, and make sure you get your hugs before we get in the pods!
